Lately, many of the clothes on Amazon have exceeded my expectations. This top is one of those. The brown color is rich and saturated. It fits perfectly with no gaps around the armholes and a perfectly fitted neckline -- not too high or low or wide. The fabric is substantial and tightly knitted, but the fabric is soft and silky (no shine) and not see through. The construction is like much more expensive garments; there were no hanging threads anywhere and the stitching is perfect. This is the perfect top to wear under a jacket or sweater. UPDATE: I love these sweaters to wear under jackets & cardigans so much I have order 2 more, yup that is a total of 5 of them. They go with so many things, are warm yet light enough to not feel bulky at all and even though the tag says "hand wash" I washed them on the delicate cycle and even put them in the dryer on delicates. I will admit that they shrunk about an inch in length after putting them in the dryer but I wanted them to shrink in length because at 5' none, everything is too long for me! Great shell sweaters and all of them were true to the colors shown and are very soft & comfortable! These sweaters (I ordered them in 3 colors) are of very high quality knit. They look very polished especially under a jacket or cardigan. I wore one under a jacket flying on a trip and they were perfect for keeping me warm on the planes. The colors are spot on, the sizing seems to be spot on though they are a little long on me, that isn't the fault of the sweater, I'm just very short waisted. I loved all 3 and they were all the exact same size laying them side by side.
