These don't make a solid connection. They'd seem fine for a while, then the plastic would just stop holding it down firmly and the strip would blink. Eventually burned out a strip using them. Not worth the bother. Just solder the strips. The time spent soldering isn't that bad compared to the unreliability of these. ... show more

So far so good. The connectors are not the easiest to work with. I used my meter to see how they were attached at each step to very I had a good connection. Do not strip the wire, cut square and push it in. Crimp with a pair of pliers. I did the strip side first then the wire side. I had to go back and squeeze them again on the strip side to be sure the metal was fully attached. Meter showed all connections were good. The connectors are inside the track mounted under the kitchen cabinets. I will update in the future if there is ever any issues, no update means no issues. I will copy here my overall review on the system for reference so you can see the entire system that I used. Note that the wire I also ordered from this company did not fit this connector. The wire that came with the LED strip and the kit worked great. I soldered the wires together to get the length I needed with some heat shrink added to protect it. See picture. WOW, what can I say - an application and product that work together and was very easy to install. That does not happen all the time. I decided on BTF-Lighting for everything to keep it simple. Reaching out to their customer support was promptly replied to with a design to fit what I wanted. Opted for the brighter strip as this is task lighting under the cabinets in both the kitchen and laundry area. Only snag I had was the wire did not fit into the connectors, just some quick solder and heat shrink tubing did the trick. Installed the controller inside the bottom of the cabinet, power supply on the top shelf of the cabinet to prevent little hands from reaching it. Attaching the controller to the app could not be easier as was the attachment to the remote. Easy to use as the 12mm LED tape slides in each side and makes good contact with the flex pins on the device. The overall size of the corners will not fit into a tract though and you need to saw out a notch for it to fit. Also, I use mine outdoors [ not in the sun ] and the plastic part of the clip just becomes dry and brittle over time. Then it breaks or gets loose. That is why I am buying these as a replacement. So plan to replace them as they get brittle over time. ... show more
