These are the hidden heros of my kitchen LED strip light install. They allowed me to do tight corners with ease, get rid of gaps and make the install look perfect when I was done. They work exceptionally well, and give you the ability to install FCOB strips in places you might not have been able to if you were not willing to cut the strip. Amazing product and value. To install you simply insert the strip on the correct sides, then use pliers to complete the connection. The bond is very durable, however it is NOT waterproof, so not for damp or wet installation areas.

These were the only solderless connectors I could find that would fit in the diffuser channel I had. Crimping them can be a bit of a challenge. In theory, you put wires in one side and the LED strip in the other and just crimp down with pliers. In practice, you have to be careful because if you don't crimp straight down, the metal tab will bend sideways instead. Having extra wire in the package was a plus, but I would have liked more wire-to-strip connectors instead of strip-to-strip. They were still a time saver and U avoided needing to solder strips together.

I bought these to extend some BTF LED strips that i have. Sure, the wires and strip fit in there just perfectly. But I could not get a good connection to be made using their wires, or 22 gauge solid core wire that i had laying around here. I tried connecting with my wire, and clamped down the metal inserts and i couldn't get the led's to light up at all even tho they were find when it was a solid piece. I thought my maybe because the lack of directions, i did something wrong and needed to strip the wires first,l so i tried that and that didn't work because no contract was made and they would fall out. So i tried again with just a small piece at the end stripped and it stayed in but still no connection all the way through. So i tried several other attempts, a few attempts i got a small screwdriver, pushed the connectors in more than pliers could that the metal was coming through the other side and i still couldn't get them to work at all. I wasted almost all 10 connectors, and trimmed my LED's 1 by 1 each time that i wasted too much money and time on this. Ended up trying another style connector on amazon to avoid soldering and they worked flawlessly on the first time and were much cheaper. I'd avoid these and solder or try a different product to save money and a headache.

I almost gave up on these bc they weren’t biting my 18ga wire. But after adjusting strip length so that the wire jacket was in the hole a bit and folding over my leads so the were bulkier, they started working like a charm. even bought a solder iron after initially failing at using them… thank god I didn’t actually have to go that route. Once you get the hang of how they want to receive your wires, they are absolutely priceless! Saved so much time!

I used these connectors to build an LED strip light to go behind the flat screen tv. I know these are a small ticket item, but felt compelled to give the review because it became the most time consuming / frustrating part of the project. 1. These came with no detailed instructions, which they need. 2. Don't strip the ends of the wires (as one would think) before using. The clamps rely on the wire casing to make a connection. 3. The metal prongs/clamps bend VERY easily, and need to be closed *completely* and with a fair amount of force. I used metal pliers and all of my hand strength to get a working connection. 4. These don't "break" apart if you mess up. You would need to cut the LED strip and try again. Wasn't a big deal for my project but I could see this ruining others. 5. Because of the unreliable connection, I would suggest testing each connection in series as you go. That way you can avoid headache trying to test the entire rig. I picked this because of the price and decent reviews, but would HIGHLY recommend a different type of product for ANY use. Sorry, seller.

I used these with the Govee H6147 light strips. The are the 3 pin version Bluetooth only. While these did work there are some notes you should keep in mind when using them. Again these are only for the 3 pin connection and the 3 pin that are closer to the middle of the strip (some have pins on the far ends). They are a crimp connector so you get one shot (or multiple if you fight with pulling the teeth back out) this dies mean it holds better than the non crimp style but it also means it punctures your strip potentially damaging it if you must remove it. It comes with mounting pieces I used these with my pliers to crimp them better and it worked great. Over the the connections can be a little iffy but they do work better then some of the others I tried with the 3 pin. I would say these are closer to a 3.5 but I will give them a 4 as they do work (so far). I also feel you do not get enough pieces for the price. I would have like 6-8 strip to strip connectors and the same for the strip to cable. In the end I would recommend these if you are uncomfortable soldering you led strips and want something that works. Just remember to take your time line the connections up properly before crimping.
