EDIT: My original review was absolutely wrong. It was the pads on the strip that needed to be modified due to a coating on them preventing contact with the connector prongs. Once I sanded the pads on the strips, everything worked beautifully. Original review: (below is not true) These simply do not work with WS2812B strips. I tried all in the pack to connect two strips and not a single connection worked.

I picked these up for a project where I needed to take LED strips and make corners to form a rectangle. They made the project SO MUCH EASIER. The only issue I ran into is that they are a little flimsy so it's a bit easy to accidentally bend one too much to where it's hard to slide into the little prongs on the attachment points, leading to some "fiddling" (a technical term for sure) to get them to connect right. That's more the exception than the norm while using them though, and certainly worth the trouble for the time and effort saved.

The plastic clips in kits like this are, in my opinion, worthless. I've tried so many brands and designs that I've lost count, and I've yet to find one that is anything close to reliable. However, I give this make/model five stars for one key reason: they send it with the PCB separate from the clips. Soldering LED strips directly to the PCB was quicker and easier than using bare wire and the connection is very reliable. I just wish BTF offered a comparable SKU for a straight-through union/connector.

Absolutely terrible product. I purchased these with some BTF WS2182B lights. First off, I purchased 2 packs and of these and neither pack came with any directions. All you have is the images and video that is offered on this product page. Nothing written. Secondly, the package also comes with 4 screws (???????) and 4 clear rectangular pieces that have adhesive tape on one side of them (???????). No idea what these are for and absolutely no explanation whatsoever. They're not even listed in any of the pictures on the product page. I tried the first connector, the strip to strip connector. Easy enough.. insert the two strips and they should light up. NOPE. Strips are cut right on the lines as indicated and nothing. The strips EASILY come right out of the connectors. There is nothing to hold them in place. The metal conductors on top of the strips do not move or press down or anything. There's no way these connectors are making contact with the strips. I tried the wire to strip connectors, again same thing. The conductors are making no contact and nothing to keep any wires or strips in place. They just fall out and nothing to crimp them down into place. I ended up purchasing a 3 pin 10 pack wire connector set from RGBZone. They worked GREAT. VERY easy to use and they come with connector covers that you crimp down to keep everything connected and in place. The only downside is that they are kind of bulky. I also purchased a spool of 22AWG wire. Everything setup perfectly and lights work great. Setting up a return and hopefully can return this item. AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

I used these connectors to build an LED strip light to go behind the flat screen tv. I know these are a small ticket item, but felt compelled to give the review because it became the most time consuming / frustrating part of the project. 1. These came with no detailed instructions, which they need. 2. Don't strip the ends of the wires (as one would think) before using. The clamps rely on the wire casing to make a connection. 3. The metal prongs/clamps bend VERY easily, and need to be closed *completely* and with a fair amount of force. I used metal pliers and all of my hand strength to get a working connection. 4. These don't "break" apart if you mess up. You would need to cut the LED strip and try again. Wasn't a big deal for my project but I could see this ruining others. 5. Because of the unreliable connection, I would suggest testing each connection in series as you go. That way you can avoid headache trying to test the entire rig. I picked this because of the price and decent reviews, but would HIGHLY recommend a different type of product for ANY use. Sorry, seller.

I got these because I was getting tired of having to solder wires to LED light strips. I wanted something a little easier, and these fit the bill perfectly. They are the only connectors that work in the standard aluminum U channels for led strips. Most of the other connectors are too wide or tall. Some notes, you can use these with the IP67 LED strips, but you need to scrape off some of the silicone coating in order for it to fit. I also found taking a drill with a small drill bit and slightly enlarging the wire holes allow for bigger gauge wire. This also holds them much more snugly so they don't slip out. Basically, insert the LED strip on one end, then the three wires (5v, neutral, data) in the other end, then press down on the metal connectors until they are flush with the plastic.

Easy and straight forward to connect. EXCELLENT instructions on how to cut and join. My purpose needed was a 45º corner moulding. The lights and corner connector were mounted under a 1" x 2" channeled wood. After the connectors were solidly in place I had to maneuver the boards on the mounding and place on top. Many attempts to mount and the connectors held tight and light on the first try. While I did not use BTF Led's the compatibility was expected of BTF. Included photos are the underside and top view.
