I bought three of these sets to give to my wife for Christmas. She has a Bible study group at her church, and she has talked about wanting to make drinking coffee and tea at their group meetings more special. These teacups and saucers are beautiful. They are much more elegant looking than the photos convey. I was afraid they might be too delicate, but they actually feel more sturdy than they appear. They are dishwasher safe but not microwave safe. They are shipped nicely packaged in a box with custom styrofoam cutouts to protect them from shipping damage. I inspected all three sets I ordered, and there were no chipped or broken pieces that I could find. This set is ideal for formal gatherings and gifting but, as inexpensive as it is, it is certainly suitable for daily usage. ... show more
