Bought this kind of on a whim; let's be honest, this is a toy, but a darn fun one. Really bright, lots of settings/colors/sounds and just a fun novelty piece. Probably determined my next Halloween costume just because it looks great. I'm not in to "dueling" and smacking these things around so can't tell you it works to that end but did whack it against a wall a few times and it did not break. Pretty easy to figure out how to make it work/shift themes and so forth. The hilt is pretty sturdy, real metal and some plastic but I go a real kick out of this. The cats fear it though! Scares the living heck out of them. If you want a fun novelty or costume item, this is pretty cool.

This lightsaber is awesome! It is built with quality. It has a good weight to it and feels good in your hand to be able swing and do tricks with it. The blade feels durable enough hit and bang around without fear of it breaking. It comes with a bunch of preset fonts that you can switch between, but is easier to customize the lightsaber once you connect to it in the app.

As a beginner, entry-into-the-hobby blade, this saber is perfectly serviceable. It looks and sounds great, with a very hefty speaker bringing the noise. And it feels nice in the hands, the metal hilt is dense, but not too heavy that it feels like a workout to use. However, there are a few notes you should take before buying this saber. One, everything came out of the package a bit loose. I believe that this was done to protect the hilt, give everything a little bit of wiggle room in shipping. But you're going to want to make sure you tighten everything before use. Two, you're going to want to get used to the button and motion controls. While yes, there is a mobile app, the bluetooth connection from the core is spotty at best, and you will lose connectivity constantly. Don't expect to be lighting your saber up from across the room or anything. Which speaking of... Three: The app is okay. It's fairly barebones, but when it is connected you can do the basic just fine. Though, as said above, do expect it to drop connection constantly throughout the process. Overall I'm glad with my purchase. It really is a solid saber for first time buyers. And while it's more expensive than some of the other blades on Amazon, it's far cheaper than most of the other "real" hobbyist blades out there. If you want to dip your toes in to the lightsaber hobby, this is the blade for you.

I wish I had this as a kid, but it’s almost better because I have it now as an adult and I appreciate it more. The sound effects are amazing. The lighting is great. All the different color options in one are amazing. And once you figure out how to control it all with the app, it’s super easy to use.

I want to say the item is really good. Overall it hasn't broke yet which I wanna say for all the comments saying. It breaks fast. Guys that's a lie, mine is still in perfect condition and I think the reason it breaks easy is because maybe don't give it to an unreasponsable kid or learn to take care of a lightsaber. Guys you cannot leaves these outside or in a bunch of junk. You have to treat it as having valuables (ex. A Ps5). It needs to be touched and dealt with.

This is hands down the best gift ever. I’ve seen plenty of lightsabers, but this one feels the most realistic. It has a great weight. It’s not too heavy, but not flimsy either. The color-changing lights are fantastic, and I love switching between 16 colors to go to the dark side. The sound effects are super fun when I swing or jab. Definitely worth every penny, and I plan to get another so I can duel with friends.
