The springs might not be as "stiff" as you might expect, but that's fine. The only point to the springs is to provide a texture to rub your brushes against to work the paint out of the bristles. Pros: Works exactly as intended. In every fashion you'd expect. Cons: Cleaning is a bit annoying. The spring is sized PERFECTLY for inside the container (which is good), but the perfection makes removing the spring to properly clean mildly annoying. Only mildly though.     • You Get What You Pay For
So, I've had these for a six months now, and they work. The springs compress a bit too easily, so you can't be very forceful with working your brushes, and the lids fit VERY poorly. Solvents will evaporate, and spills will leak- but they are cheap!

Purchase this to clean my acrylic paint for models. They work great for this. The only problem is getting the spring in and out was tough. The spring comes flat and packed inside the jar. Getting it out to remove the plastic bag was hard. The spring also comes flat, and putting it back into the jar takes some effort. But once that was done it works great ... show more

    • The coil don't fit in right
it's just non functional. the coil is too soft/ not strong at all and comes separate from the cup so you have to put it in yourself and it does not fit right. After you put the coil in the coil is not strong therefore when you dip your brush in to clean it the brush touches the bottom dirty part and comes out unclean again. ... show more
