These are decent boots. The faux leather is soft but decently tough. The toe is somewhat cushioned on top to mitigate impacts but is definitely not protective against crushing. While it says it is insulated, it isn't that thick nor cold resisting. I would not wear these for deep snow, but maybe for the occasional hike. The bottom sole is thick with deep grooves for good traction on uneven terrain. The inner sole is cushioned and relatively comfy to wear for long periods of time. The only complaint I really have is the laces are too short as well as slippery. I can't get a good knot on them that stays. I suggest getting better laces.

Fit true to size, I'm a 10.5, boots did great in 1st snow of 4 inches. Feet stayed dry and warm. Really like the design of boots. Would purchase again.

These Bruno Marc Men's Snow Boots are much nicer than I expected, especially at a list price of $59.99. They're made well, comfortable, and despite being fully waterproof, they don't feel hot or cause sweaty feet like other similar footwear I've tried. While these won't do a great job of keeping out snow if you're trekking through a bank due to their shorter height, they're a solid choice for "about town" boots. They look nice enough for my husband to wear them into the office while still being functional enough to keep his feet warm and dry during his commute and when doing activities outside work. Size-wise, they fit true, but only if you don't want to wear thicker socks; in those cases, going up a half size would be better. The only concern I have with these boots is the tread. It looks sturdy and like it will last, but it's not as grippy as I prefer. I'd be cautious on ice and other more slippery surfaces when wearing these. That also makes these less versatile than I wanted, but since my main goal was getting a pair of dressier boots for my husband, I'm overall happy with these.

The media could not be loaded. I got these for my husband, and they're very tight and uncomfortable in the middle of the foot area. He's worn a 10.5 in all boots, but for these, they seem to run a little small because they seem so slender. 60 bucks is a decent price for a nonslip snow boot, but not a huge fan of these.

I gave 4 stars, only because haven't had bad weather yet to test out the insulation and waterproofness yet. Other than that, these seem to be well made, nice looking boots. I accidentally ordered a half size up, but glad I did, as it would have been too small if I had ordered the 10, instead of 10.5. They had a nice tread design and look like they will be good in the snow, not too deep, but good enough to wear to work. Price is about what I would expect to pay for boots like this. Very giftable.
