Was absolutely amazed that straight out of the box these shoes not only look great but feel great. Many of us know the last thing you want to do is get a pair of dress shoes the day you have to wear them around a convention center for 16 hours on your feet walking around. Not a problem for these shoes. No heel cuts, no lower back pain. Many compliments on how great they look. Would absolutely buy again.

These are fine shoes aesthetically, but they are painfully rigid. I wear 8.5 in everything and have for years across a dozen dress shoe, running shoe, and other shoe types and brands. But an 8.5 in these is really painful. Both of my heels get large blisters, and it's so rigid that even the top of my toes hurt because of the tightness and lack of flexibility in that portion. I thought it was just breaking them in so I didn't return them or exchange them, but even a few months later I can't wear them for more than a few hours before I have to take them off the rest of the day and carry them around. I've just stopped even trying to wear them. I tried everything too: I tried thin dress socks, thick dress socks, putting heel pads in for extra cushioning, putting blister pads on my heels directly, and none of that fixed it, and none of that helped with the painful toe rubbing which I've never experienced with a shoe before but happens every time with these. If you're going to get these, go up half a size, and if they don't feel good when you get them, don't mess around - immediately return them.
