  • Far beyond the price point.
Size: 14 Color: 2-black
Are they real leather? No. Do they have any kind of resolable soles? Nope. These are not luxury or even high end boots. These just look and fit great. I will buy another pair when mine wear out because I love how comfortably they fit. I have Thursdays, Beckett Simonons, Allen Edmonds, but when I'm running out the door These chealseas are my immediate reach. Low cost, low guilt when I abuse them. The only real issue is that they came looking like dull beaten leather, not polished, and as they are synthetic they can't actually be polished. Solid 4/5 Will buy again. ... show more

  • Great shoe
Size: 8 Color: 2-dark Brown
Holds up well with daily wear. It doesn’t breath very well, so expect some swamp foot.

  • Quality seems excellent but I discovered this type of boot isn't for me.
Bruno Marc Men’s Chelsea Boots Casual Slip-On Classic Dress Ankle Boot I normally wear size 10 but I expected to wear heavy winter socks outdoors with these boots, so ordered size 10.5. I wonder if their 10.5 is really 11. It is a struggle to get past the elastic and into the boots, near impossible with the heavy socks and difficult with normal streetwear socks. Pulling hard with both hands to expand the opening. I had to use a long boot shoehorn for the first several days. The little pull tabs are too small to grasp, just decoration. Then once the boots are on, they feel sloppy large. Even with the heavy winter socks. And a little clumsy, being oversize in external dimensions compared to what I'm used to. Made me think of clown shoes. Summary: Construction quality is as good as I had hoped. But 'casual slip-on' doesn't describe the brutal battle to get them on. The ankle portion seems disproportionately small relative to the interior and exterior dimensions. These will be relegated to mud-boots, slipped off at the needed boot shoehorn when I come into the house, instead of used for the semi-formal wear that their nice appearance suggests. ... show more

  • Surprisingly attractive and comfortable
Size: 7.5 Color: 2-black
I have been looking for a pair of quality boots and have tried four pairs in the past week, some 3-4 times the price of these. I initially ignored these boots thinking their lower prices meant they were no good. But after four different pairs and still not finding a suitable pair I decided to try these. And surprisingly they look very nice and are quite comfortable, albeit with my special inserts. I believe if a better external material like real quality leather, these boots could demand a much higher price. I will keep them as my casual pair while continue to look for something of higher exterior material quality for more dressy occasions. I will report in the future on how these boots last over time. ... show more

  • Good quality, odd color and pull on tabs...
Decent boot, fit was exact and boot seems put together well. Flat in the foot area as others have said. Based on all that I'd buy them again because they were a $35 boot, and if you are only worried about the quality, you can stop reading here and know my experience there was great. Now my complaints: I bought these based on the picture showing what looked like a slightly worn or burnished look, which was what I wad going for. These do not have that, they are a flat, matte grey which makes a difference in what they look good with. Second issue, the boots have a pull on tab to help slide them on the feet which only a 9 year old kid will every be able to get their fingers in. The tab is useless and it isn't because I have giant hands, it's just a really small tab. The first few tries to pull the boots on was frustrating, but has gotten easier as they break in. Still, very aggravating. Finally, I want to reiterate there is very, very little arch support. It is hard and flat, so expect to buy inserts. Overall, I'd give this a lower rating if the price wasn't so darn good, and they do seem pretty well put together. Just some minor issues that lowered my enjoyment. ... show more

  • Look good
Size: 10.5 Color: 2-black
I saw some mixed reviews so I waited. I went to the store and looked around. I could not find a black boot for less than $100 nor could I find one I thought looked as good. So I came back and pulled the trigger. I wear a 10 or 10 1/2 depending on brand. I went 10 1/2 here and it was the right call. I love the look when I wear them with jeans and so far highly recommend them. ... show more

  • Great boot for the price.
Pros: This boot Is probably the closest looking (shape, style and pattern-wise) to a more expensive boot like Redbacks. They are very stylish and are almost a cross between a dress shoe and a work boot. I wear mine for work, which is often on constructions sites but I sometimes also wear them as casual footwear in my off-hours. Ankle is not too bulky so it fits fine with straight leg jeans. They look good even when you wear them with shorts. Cons: Arch support and inner sole padding under the ball of your feet could be better as compared to more expensive brands of chelsea boots. (I also have Redbacks and Rock Roosters and those are 9 out of 10 on my comfort scale), even after being on my feet all day. Comfort wise, Bruno Marcs are not horrible, but not the greatest either (I rate 5 out of 10). I use some $12 memory foam insoles and that bumps it up to 8 out of 10 on the comfort scale. They fit a little loose unless you double up on socks and/or use a foam insole like Dr. Scholls. Sizing: I wear a size 10.5 US sneaker but it is recommended that you go down 1/2 size for most brands of Chelsea boots, so I ordered a size 10 US and its still a little loose. I think another half size down (9.5 US) would fit more snug but I’m afraid it would be too crowded in the toe box. The size 10 US fits perfect IF you add a memory foam/gel insert. This is needed to improve the arch support anyway. They seem well made of quality man-made (synthetic) materials, but longevity of sole is my only concern. We’ll see how long they last. All in all, a good quality, good looking boot for the price. If they last a year or more, I’d definitely buy another pair of Bruno Marc boots! ... show more
