Love this travel mug!! Note*: People saying the top is hard to get off, once you lock it into place with hot liquid inside, I think it expands slightly or the heat adheres it very tightly and it can be hard to twist off until it cools down. When filled with cold liquid it's very easy to remove while full, it is leakproof and the new twist top is a great upgrade.

Would give 3.5 stars. Keeps liquids at the temps they should be and can attest to this cup being leak-proof, if you have the lid twisted on and the mouthpiece cover locked in place, not a single drop of liquid will escape. But, the mechanics of achieving this are an annoyance at times. The locking mechanism on the mouthpiece is super sticky, such that sometimes I'd have to use so much force to get it to slide open it would cause a spill from liquid coming back out the hole from jostling the cup so much to wrestle it open. When putting the lid on, you push it down and do a small twist to get the lid in place. The seal is so good it almost creates a vacuum, however, and when you try to twist and open the top back off it take a lot of force and there is almost a sucking feeling, like the cup wants to hold onto the lid. This is all great for keeping the liquids inside, but can be a real pain when you want to simply top off your coffee. Another minor beef is the girthiness of the handle. It's huge! I had to buy an extra large carabiner to fit the handle to keep it attached to my bag.

I love the color of this BrüMate and it really is leak-proof, which is a big plus. The only downside is that I find it pretty hard to open and close the lid, which makes it a bit frustrating to use.
