The BrüTank 55q is an awesome ice chest! Not only is it high quality, they really thought of everything when they made them. There’s a bottle opener inside of the lid, slots for cup holders on the side/outside, a tray to hold food/snacks, a drink tank to put a mixed drink, etc. in, plenty of space for drinks/ice, and wheels and a handle on the outside to make it easier for transport. I love the ocean swirl color, so pretty in person. If you’re looking for a quality product that will keep your drinks cold for a long time and has a bunch of great features this is the product for you! I love all my Brümate products and they have excellent customer service!

Overpriced but nice.

I haven't owned anything but igloo & Coleman coolers. That being said, I liked the looks & functions of this brumate. It advertised that it keeps cold for 7 days. We put a 12 pack of Bud light slim bottles, 6 bottles of water, and a 6 pack of pop. When loading the cooler, I put 1 small bag of ice over top of everything. We drove 45 minutes to the lake with the cooler in the back seat of truck with a/c on. Then added 1 big bag of ice when we got there. It was full. We had it in and out of the sun from noon to 6pm. We got in to it at least 12 times, but didn't leave the lid open very long! I put it in the back of truck on the way home in the sun, and this is what the inside looked like after taking out leftover drinks. I don't see this cooler keeping anything cold for 5 days after seeing this. Maybe if you don't open it much in 5-7 days... maybe? +It does roll really good across gravel! Good strong handle! Just don't think it's worth $400. Brumate does make a great insulated can holder, called hopsulator! Worth every penny!

Not so good Cooler & Brumate

I was told about this cooler by my niece. She raved about it and she knows I'm always using coolers. The wait is over. I purchased and it was delivered today. Outside: The color is gorgeous and it feels so good and rich. The diamond 💎 of coolers. The top of the cooler looks like a bar mat and you can serve up drinks. The clasps are rubber which will reduce breakage down the line. This is a plus! The wheels are very sturdy and helps the cooler glide, all terrain wheels. The pull handle is very smooth as well. Its feels very sturdy with rubber grip handles. Inside: The lid has a cool bottle opener which is always a help when using a cooler. The dispenser took it to another level. Mix up your drinks while they remain cold. This does take away from the room of the 55qt cooler. Its much smaller with the dispenser. Also, the spout should be higher to access with more ease. If you have a tall cup, this will be challenging to use. Also its low which is close to the ground or grass. When you take out the dispenser, you have more room. It still seems you have not a lot of space because of the design of the cooler. Not much you can put in this cooler with ease. When I hear 55qt, I'm looking for space or roomy. Overall: This is a sleek cooler with a few cool gadgets. Wherever you go, it will be a conversation piece. If you need a lot of space, this wouldn't be ideal. I gave it a 3 star due to the lack of room, the spout being too low to the ground. Recommend: I wouldn't recommend this due to how expensive it is. $400 and you're not getting the full 55qt when you remove dispenser. I feel it could've came with cup holders as shown in the pictures. I ordered those which makes the cooler more expensive. If it was cheaper I would recommend. I will return to update how long the ice lasted and if it has any leakage. Its very heavy without adding items. This is concerning when picking up to place in truck or taking out. More to come. Update: 7/8/2026 Took this to the park and it was an absolute hit! I was stopped by security at the gate of the festival to admire this cooler. The major issue is its extremely heavy even to pull when loaded. I would suggest this should have four wheels. My brother had to pull and he even said its heavy. This isn't for sand, or long distances, I was worn out by the time I reached my destination. I still have to test how long the ice lasts. This cooler was a great purchase and they didnt disappoint. My dispenser malfunctioned so I really couldn't show off. I was a bit upset I couldn't use. Will return with another update. Update 7/29/2026 I wouldnt recommend this cooler. I would say at your own risk. Everyones experience is different. With Brumate and these coolers has been a horrible experience. My only issue with the first cooler was the spout not working. I ordered the smaller cooler because I liked it before I had the horrible experience. The large cooler is extremely heavy and its not good to tote around especially when you put the items in. Brumate didn't respond to me and I had to keep going back and forth with Amazon. All I wanted was a replacement spout. If any of the parts malfunction or break, they dont have parts to replace it. You will have to return the entire cooler and you will have to pay for the shipping. (Mine was within the 30 days and Brumate said I would need to pay the shipping). With that said, I contacted Amazon and complained and they assisted me. Brumate didnt respond until Amazon made me whole. These coolers are very expensive and shouldn't have these issues, if they do, Brumate should take responsibility. When the second cooler came, the dispenser was cracked and it was used. It has smudge and prints and didnt have the items in plastic like the first cooler I received. This tell me they sent a used cooler. I'm moving on from Brumate. Never thought a company of their magnitude would dismiss consumers due to their products malfunctioning. Purchase at your own risk!

Just get it! I love it even more in person than I did online. I got the 20 gallon and it’s a good size. It’s probably too heavy to carry to the beach by myself when full - I’m a 5’3” female - but I’ll toss it in my beach cart for easy transport. It’s by far the nicest cooler I’ve ever seen.
