  • Realistic movements
My son LOVES this toy! We put rice in the bed to be used as road salt. It actually comes out the back just like on the real snowplow's. It is made a little delicate but has held up well for a year so far with nothing broken off of it. We do keep is away from my younger son just to be on the safe side but my 8 year old loves it. ... show more

  • Love the Snowplow!
My son had been asking for a snowplow for over a year. He loves to watch them every year clear the driveway and roads. So we did some searching, thinking we would never find a snowplow for him. Then we found this one. We ordered it for his birthday, and he loved it! We took it outside and filled it with salt to try it out. Unfortunately, the salt doesn't stay in. It spilled over the porch. But that didn't stop him! He's played with it for 6 months, then it finally snowed. It works great outside too! My problem is that he pushes too hard on the top, making the plow not work right and fall off. We ended up zip tied the plow to the front, which really helped! All in all, we really love this toy. When our son gets a little older, we will upgrade to the full metal one! ... show more

  • Love it! Bigger than expected!
I honestly don't understand the poor reviews this item has received. We happen to love it. I purchased this for my 12 year old's collection. Yes, he collects all kinds of trucks and is fascinated with snowplows. I was surprised that it was larger than I had expected. It has a lot of neat details such as how the back can open and actually spit sand out. Very fun. Yes, it is made of plastic, but not a cheap plastic - not a chunky Little Tikes plastic either. If you give this to a 3 year old, then yes, I would expect you will be popping the plow back on from time to time. I would say that any child 4 or older should be able to do it themselves 1-2-3. ... show more

  • Cute truck for 4 year old, but incomplete
In the past, I love Bruder trucks for my grandsons- this one is all plastic and not as sturdy as the metal ones. It was missing that part on the back and the plow was rattling around not attached to the box. Could it have been a return from previous customer? Anyway it was a Christmas gift so we opened the box so he could play with it and didn’t bother to return. A bit disappointing though. ... show more

  • The snowplow is a very fun toy with working parts
The snowplow is a very fun toy with working parts. One of the best features is that it spreads salt through the back. We have several toys from Bruder and they are unique. My son loves the snowplow. The toy is made of plastic, and is not unbreakable, so keep that in mind when deciding if you should buy it for your child. The plow can fall off, but is easily put back on. The truck also works better on a hard floor or surface outside, as if it is pushed on a carpet the plow catches and it will not move forward. This can be rectified by just leaving the plow up, but part of the fun is actually having the plow down. Pros: It actually spreads salt. Tires are rubber. It is fun when there is a dusting of snow outside to "plow the deck." Cons: It is made of plastic. (not a huge drawback for us, but it might be for some) ... show more

  • Bruder Snowplow
I bought the Bruder Snowplow for my 2 Grandsons ages 5 & 8 as Easter presents. They love the trucks as their Daddy drives one in the winter for the State Dept. The only thing was I thought being they were made in Germany instead of china that they would be made out of maybe metal but they are very durable. Now the kids are asking for the sweeper that can also be attached to the truck in place of the plow. Laura ... show more

  • poor design and poor quality
The Bruder truck is ok except the Unimog hook-up is a poor design because when you put attachment on and push truck, the attachment pops up and comes off. Very disappointing! Also the street sweeper attachment is very poor quality and design. This attachment also pops up and off when truck is pushed. Also it tore up right away. the brush part came off of the rubber band holding it on and it was impossible to put back on. I have a VERY disappointed almost four year old great grandson. All he can do now is play with the truck and the attachments are what he really wanted. He did not get to play with them even one hour before the sweeper tore up and of course, if the attachment won't stay attached to truck, it is of no use. I will never order another product from this site. Also I do not read German or whatever the instruction booklet was printed in. Regretfully, Emily Daughtry ... show more
