I wish there was a cheaper option...
I've gone through several batches of 3rd-party toner (i.e., not Brother), and have always been somewhere between unimpressed and really disappointed. So this time, I bought Brother-branded toners at a *significantly* higher price. Result: Well, now my HL-3075W printer prints like it did when it was new. I wish there was a cheaper option for GOOD toners, but I haven't found it. THESE TONERS ARE REALLY GOOD! ...they just cost a lot, which I think I already mentioned. A little pricey, but worth it if you depend on your printer for work
Buying them as a set of 4 saves a few bucks over buying singly. They are still significantly more than the off-brand or refilled versions, but over the length of time you probably use a set, the overall savings for the gray-market versions will be limited, and it gives you the consistent performance and repeatable cartridge life. I keep one set on the shelf so I can replace as soon as I need to, and the storage time has never caused any problem. I am happy I am getting what I pay for. ... show more

Quick and better than off brand
Don’t get anything but the brand listed on the printer itself. These shipped and the color is more vibrant than other brands I’ve used.

New OEM Cartridge or New Printer.
Have a brother laser printer for several years. Had used these toner cartridges previously, however, the cost is horribly expensive. Switched to less expensive off brands and some okay and some not good. Last purchase was buying brother brand again, however, this will be last time. In research I'm finding it less expensive to buy a new printer with features I need for less then OEM Brother Cartridges. Yes the new ones wouldn't last as long but still less expensive. ... show more

Pricey, but worth buying the Brother brand
I have bought these toner cartridges a few times for the copier at work. As far as toner replacements go, they work fine. A just have a few observations (or opinions) to share. First is, I do believe that these cartridges lasted longer than the original factory ones that came with our Brother MFC 9320-CW, which was a nice surprise. I was disappointed at how quickly the original ones ran out of toner. Also, I have tried the off-brand non-Brother cartridges and found them lacking in quality. One the black off-brand cartridges was missing the strip that you normally have to pull to release the toner inside. That being said, we were never able to get that particular cartridge to work and therefore wasted about $30. I say that to say this, I would recommend spending the extra money to get the actual Brother toner cartridges. The only downside that I can think of for this product is that I would like to see more of a discount for buying all 4 toner cartridges together. Each one is about $50 by itself, buy you can buy 4 for the low price of $200. I'd like to see more of an incentive for buying all four together, but maybe that's just me. ... show more

Can't beat OEM
I've tried Brother "compatible" cartridges and they won't work in my device. So I pay the big bucks and get the Brother brand and they work perfectly. They last a long time. Make sure you pull them out and shake them now and then to use your toner evenly.

"Toner Low" Immediately After Install - Never Worked
These replacement toners are worthless. So upset that I wasted the money on genuine Brother brand replacement toners. From the moment I installed them, the printer has been telling me toner is low on all four cartridges, and the colors do not work. I'm out $250 and cannot get a single thing to print with decent quality (all I get are blue and green colors on pages). I've gone through all the troubleshooting on the Brother web page, and it has lasted so long and been such a fiasco that now I'm past the returnable date on Amazon. Awful. Never ever buy. Update: We're a year later, I've barely used them, and I'm still getting "Toner Low" messages. Now I'm getting speckles and spots across all my pages that do not go away, even after taking a Q-tip and alcohol to the drum units (as their help files suggest). I'm replacing them even though they still have toner in them, because they are so useless. What a horrible waste of money. ... show more

Got the Brand Name this time
I got tired of the generic refills blowing toner all over the inside of my printer. Got the Brother 100% new carts this time. Yeah they cost a bit more but I have never had a new brand name explode like the generics do. You get what you pay for I suppose but from now on I am paying for Brother brand, new cartridges. ... show more
