I couldn't be happier with my recent purchase of these shoes. Snagging them at an excellent price of around $89 during Amazon Prime Day was a bonus, but what truly influenced my decision was my positive experience with a previous pair I've owned since last year. The Ghost 14's performance has been solid and dependable. Right out of the box, they offered the comfort and support I remember from my old pair. The midsole cushioning feels just right, providing a smooth ride that makes each step feel effortless, even during longer runs. As a neutral runner, stability is crucial, and the Ghost 14 delivers on that front. The outsole provides reliable traction, keeping my feet steady on various surfaces. I appreciate how the shoe's design promotes a natural stride, making my runs feel smooth and comfortable. Durability has been another pleasant surprise. My previous pair lasted me for well over a year (in fact they’re still going strong), and I have no doubt these new ones will do the same. Breathability is a welcome feature, especially during warmer runs. The upper mesh keeps my feet cool and dry, enhancing overall comfort during workouts. The Ghost 14's versatility is worth mentioning too. I use them for outdoor runs on different terrains, treadmill workouts at the gym, and even casual wear. They're practical for various activities. The Amazon Prime Day deal made an extra pair a no-brainer. If you're looking for a reliable and reasonably priced running shoe that delivers on comfort and performance, I highly recommend giving the Ghost 14 a try (until they force you into the 15s). This is my first pair of Brooks running shoes, but I'm not a runner but rather do 3+ mile daily power walks, so need similar support I believe. Over the years I've used several of the top brands and over time and with their constant changes to models, I had to move from brand to brand. Hopefully I'll be able to stay with Brooks for a long while since the Ghost 14 is the best overall running shoe I've owned in many, many years. There is little I can find to fault. First, they are very lightweight at just 13.02 oz per shoe and that is after adding Sof Sole Insoles, because for me at least, NOBODY makes even a marginally acceptable insole. And Brooks is no exception. At this weight, I was concerned they would not provide adequate support, but they are really well designed and definitely do. I land on my heel more and there is great cushioning in the heel and in fact they actually have spring action to them. They also transfer the shock very effectively so there is no stress on my ankles or other part of the foot. The arch is fairly neutral and there is good cushioning in the toe joint area as well. And the huge plus is that the toe box is sufficiently wide so that my toes are never cramped, and this is huge. Many shoes seem to slim that area down too much for me. I wear a 12 D and I bought the 12 standard and they fit perfectly. I'm not a shoe engineer, but it seems Brooks placed the design emphasis on the most important areas and that is the shoe bottom, tread and cushioning. They are not designed for lateral support, but I've never had any issues when I step off pavement or trail onto grass or other surfaces as I sometimes have with other shoes. And there is certainly no shortage of colors with the Ghost. Overall a great shoe, and if it lasts 350-400 miles, I'll be happier still. I highly recommend.

I've stopped growing my foot size now for 20 years. Have been buying Brooks shoes throughout. They have been a good fit through all pairs. And comfort matters. They have never been a disappointment. Really enjoy the lightweight shoes, great for long walks. Ghost 14 are a winner

These sneakers are really comfortable for wide feet. The toe box area fits well and the heel area is normal so the shoes are not too big or slip off. Highly recommend!

I love these shoes. I like the way they look (clean) and I walk a lot some I wear them pretty much every day. I have been using Brooks for several years. They fit me well and are comfortable. The laces on a previous pair came untied quite a bit. I attribute this to the slickness of the lace material. This version does not seem to have this problem.

I've been getting a pair of the last year's Ghosts each year now for a few years when they can be found on sale after the new model drops. These are a bit heavier than the previous model, but veryuch more comfortable. The heel collar & tongue are generously cushioned and the material is not as slick as the more meshy 12s & 13s, which helps keep everything snugly in place when worn. Yeah, so, the flat laces... No need to go away from the outstanding semi stretchy oval laces from the older models, but they did. The new strappy flat laces stay cinched, fine, but if I could build a Brooks shoe, I would always opt for the oval laces (esp. the longer, stretchier laces from the 12s). That said, the plush, secure feel around the ankle/upper and outstanding cushion under the footbed¹ more than make up for a different shapes lace. Fair trade. I honestly thought that the 13s were a slight downgrade from the 12s, but that these 14s are a solid upgrade fusing the best from both of those models. These Ghosts are well worth the price. I'd entertain another pair TBH. ¹the cusioning, while a bit heavy, is very, very comfortable underfoot. It is soft but supportive, so there is no fatigue after long hours on foot or walking/running. Unlike Boost which is very soft, a bit overly so, and feels great when you first put them on but as the hours/steps pile up, the fatigue can set in bc the feet are overly cushioned and not adequately supported for physical activity. Also, my seller got me my Ghosts incredibly fast for a non-Prime order. Good on them and a great buy for me. I highly recommend the Brooks Ghost 14s
