This duvet set is everything I wanted it to be. It’s the perfect olive green and stupid soft. Linen can be pretty scratchy, so I went in with realistic expectations but was blown away by how broken-in these felt straight out of the box. I’m in love!! I saw a review from a girl saying that if you’re still using the target throw blanket from college as your bedding, this is your sign to upgrade! And I’m so glad I did! The only thing I will say is that linen is that my cats have made all kinds of little holes in the comforter from their claws, but obviously that’s not an issue with the bedding! Overall, I really like this duvet cover and sham set. I was contemplating a similar one from West Elm that ran upwards of $350. I settled on this one at about half the price, and happy that I did. I washed and dried it before putting it on, and it created a large amount of lint. Be sure to empty the lint catcher a few times while it is drying, as some of it will catch in the corners and end up on the sheets if doesn’t get collected. I am using this with a down blend insert, sized up to California king for a fuller look. Overall, this is a good buy and I would recommend it. The linen look is very cozy and the olive tone is the perfect jewel tone to add some color to a neutral home. There are ties in all four corners, and buttons along the bottom lip. ... show more

This is the softest, warmest most comfy comforter I’ve ever owned. Very large. Feels worn in immediately. Price is high for just the duvet and two pillow inserts. But if you’re a grown adult still using the blanky you bought from target during college than this is the perfect upgrade. It DOES NOT come with a duvet insert so you will need to order one separately. If you get really hot and sweat during sleep this comforter is not for you. ... show more

The color (olive green) is gorgeous, the sizing is accurate, and I'm generally happy with it. That said, for the price, I did expect better quality. It's not exactly scratchy, but it's not as soft as I'd expected. The softness and quality are on a par with duvets I've paid much less for, which is disappointing. After the initial wash, there were a ton of loose threads inside, which doesn't bode well for longevity before seams begin to come apart. I'm sure it will soften with time and washings, but that's true of anything. For $200+, I expected something a cut above the $80 duvets I've purchased in the past, which I cannot say this is. Super comfy and love the color, it’s very true to the picture. Does shed little chunks of fabric when you’re putting in the insert but once you wash it a few times that went away for me.
