  • Very impressed! Unlimited access--goes where other craft can't. So nimble, durable, & comfortable
I finally got to take this inflatable kayak out on the water and I love it. I wasn't sure if I needed a registration sticker to take this out at a local small lake, so I inquired, and I was told at our DMV that I would need to get a sticker for it to use there. They told me they needed a photo of the kayak displaying a VIN#. I couldn't find one on the kayak, the instructions, or on the box, and was unable to provide what I am told I needed to get a registration sticker. The listing listed an ASIN#, but I was told that that was not a VIN#. I decided I would take it to the marina and see what they say in the near future (I am confident they will provide a path to acquire the necessary registration), and I decided to take it down to an area of private property along a creek that was deep enough to float this kayak. The kayak took me about 20 minutes to fully inflate and set up with one seat cushion and one oar, as I went solo. The provided bellows works great. I would recommend, for inflation efficiency, to go at about a 'one compression per second' pace, or just slightly longer, so the bellows' inner air chamber has time to fully fill before the next foot compression. Inflate the base section first, then the two sides--all of the valves are at the same end on the inside. Finally, the seat is inflated, the oar is easily connected, the bow and stern skirts are attached, and the two protective underside rudder fins are attached--ready for launch. I had inflated this kayak in our living room days earlier, prior to taking it out, to what I felt was quite firmly and fully inflated and let it sit for about a day, and there were no leaks or detectable loss of air. I am very impressed with the durable material (though not commercial grade), and the strength and sealing of the seams. Once in the water, I realized the seatback allowed for too much recline, so I easily tightened the seatback straps, and the seat was comfortable and securely provided the exact support I wanted. Sitting in the rear position seat with no front seat, I was able to stretch my legs out fully. This kayak's flat, inflated bottom is very stable on the water and glides very well for an inflatable. I paddled up this lazy river stream and rode back a couple times very comfortably and found the maneuverability very impressive. This will steer very nimbly and turn on a dime. I thought with both front and rear protective rudder fins that it might handle more like a canoe, but it is much nimbler and more responsive, more like a hard-bodied kayak. As I went with the current, I decided to lay down with the seat cushion as lumbar support, and the seatback as a pillow, and I had a hard time not getting too far from the car--I just wanted to keep on floating along and enjoying the natural surroundings. This will accommodate one or two adults comfortably within the weight range (400 lbs.) very well and float on what would otherwise be too shallow for just about any other type of craft. This is light enough to trek and set up for launch in places that would otherwise be inaccessible to boat trailers or even cars. It can go where other hard-bodied kayaks and watercraft cannot and can be transported in the back seat of a car very easily (see pic of kayak in provided gray carry bag on the right side of the Crosstrek trunk). I really look forward to getting this out on more creeks, rivers, and lakes--especially in the mountains out west. I am very impressed with the quality. The portability, durability, performance, comfort, and enjoyment of this kayak rate very high for me, and I find it very affordably priced and a very good value. ... show more

  • Almost complete kit
This is a nicer boat, for what it is. And has almost everything you need to get going. What is really missing is a couple of life vests. Had to go get a couple of those locally since laws require a vest. It seems like for how compete this kit is, a Couple vests could be included as well. The boat does inflate good but takes a while with the included pump. Lucky I have a few other small pumps that work that are battery powered. Since it does inflate it isn’t quite as rigid as I had hoped for. I was expecting the hardness of the inflatable SUP that seem to have a good material that almost makes you think it is solid. This boat feels more like a small raft from Walmart that just has a different shape. Worked well in the water and held inflation good for about 2 hours of use in the water. The seat setup is a little interesting but does work once you settle into a slight relaxed recline to use it. Sort of gives the feel of between a canoe and kayak because of the seats. Not enough to sit normal like a canoe with feel on the floor, but not quite the same as the typical sit in or sit on top type kayak feel either. It works- once you get used to it. Packs back up in the bag well since there is plenty of room. I’m always a bit worried trying to get stuff back into an original package but the bag was only about halfway full when it arrived so plenty of extra room even when not folding down exactly like from the factory. ... show more

  • Really nice vinyl inflatable 2 person kayak kit
Sometimes a kayak is a better option than a SUP and this is a great option for fun on the water. I am pleased with the overall quality of this kit! For starters everything you need to get on the water is here except life jackets! The carry bag is compact enough and light enough to carry longer distances to the shore. Inside the kit are 2 sets of paddles inflatable seats that have Velcro and buckle attachments, gunnel covers front and rear and finally a high volume low pressure foot pump that quickly inflates the kayak. The thickness of the rubber is just right, not too thick and heavy to make it hard to fold and transport and not so thin you’d worry about leaks. The style and color are very sharp and it looks great on the water overall quality and value are outstanding. The only change I’d make would be better kayak paddles, the paddles included are aluminum and compact for general use but you probably would want to get a nicer one if you plan on paddling a long time. ... show more

  • Good Concept with Everything Included, but Quality Control Needs Work
This inflatable tandem kayak has a lot going for it, but it also has a few issues that keep it from being a higher-rated product. Starting with the positives, it's a true complete kit. Everything you need to get on the water is included: the kayak, two seats, two paddles, and a foot pump. The foot pump works well, and the kayak inflates surprisingly quickly. Setup is straightforward, and once inflated, the kayak paddles, steers, and maneuvers better than I expected. It's also spacious enough for two adults and is rated to hold up to 400 pounds. The paddles feel sturdy and comfortable to use. Unfortunately, the quality control leaves something to be desired. One of the paddle adjustment screws arrived broken. The paddle is still usable, but seeing a damaged part right out of the box doesn't inspire confidence in its long-term durability. More concerning, one side of the kayak has an obvious air leak. We noticed it immediately after the initial inflation and had to add more air before ever putting it in the water. It held long enough for us to paddle around and enjoy a few laps, but it definitely loses air much faster than it should. My biggest disappointment, however, was the seats. They simply don't provide enough support or stability to be comfortable. They shift around and offer very little back support. Honestly, the experience wouldn't have been much different without them. Overall, I like the design and appreciate that this is a complete, easy-to-use package. If the air leak and seat design were improved, it would be an excellent inflatable kayak. As it stands, it's enjoyable but held back by a few significant quality issues. ... show more

  • BRONE Inflatable Tandem Kayak Set (2-Seater) with Oars & Pump
My first impression of this tandem inflatable kayak was how complete the package is. It comes with everything needed to get on the water, including two paddles, two seats, a pump, a carry bag, and even a repair kit. That made setup simple without having to purchase extra accessories. The kayak inflates fairly quickly (20 minutes), and feels sturdy once fully inflated. The reinforced PVC construction gives it a durable feel, while the seats provide comfortable support for leisurely paddling. It has plenty of room for two adults, and the 400-pound weight capacity inspires confidence for a relaxing day on calm lakes or slow-moving rivers. I also appreciate how portable it is. After use, it deflates easily and packs back into the included carry bag, making transportation and storage much easier than a hard-shell kayak. At just over 10 feet long, it offers a nice balance between stability and maneuverability for recreational outings. This is a well-equipped inflatable tandem kayak that’s easy to transport and simple to set up. I cannot wait to get it out on the water with my grandsons! ... show more

  • Fun! And so easy to transport.
This kayak arrived with everything needed to get on the water quickly - two paddles, a pump, a carry bag, and even a repair kit. Having everything on hand made getting this kayak set up and on the water simple and straightforward. The kayak inflates pretty easily and quickly and it s sturdy once fully inflated. It has a reinforced PVC construction which makes it pretty durable. The seats are pretty comfortable for easy paddling. The 10 ft length is plenty of length for two adults. But the 400-pound weight limit makes me a little nervous. I am a 5’3” 130 lbs and my husband is 6’2” and 240 . . . 370 is pretty close to the limit and doesn’t leave much extra for bringing anything with in the kayak. It is stable and maneuverable on the water. I appreciate how portable and transportable it is. It folds up and packs into a carrying case - and it inflates and deflates pretty quickly and easily -for loading, transport and storage. It was fun . . . ... show more

  • Great family fun!
These inflatable kayaks are durable and easy to maneuver in the water. Plenty of leg room and high quality material. Great for family fun at the lake! This kayak is a good value when compared to other inflatable kayaks.

  • Great for lake fun.
I received this kayak at the perfect time. It literally came 10 minutes before we headed out to do a lake trip. So I tossed it in the trailer to give it a go. The kayak inflated quickly with the included pump, just a few minutes. It had no issues with deflating or leaking in the couple of hours we used it. I got it all pumped up and jumped in with my little nephew. I was able to handle paddling it around with him in the front seat with no issues. It seems like it will hold up to plenty of use. When done it deflated quickly and was easy to store in the included bag, which holds everything: the kayak, the seats, paddles, pump, etc. So you can just grab it and go the next time you need it. ... show more
