I bought this purse/backpack in A-Brown, size large a few weeks ago for an upcoming trip (I’m the “mom-friend” and tired of carrying the weight of the world on one shoulder). I’ve been giving it a few practice runs, and though it’s not packed as full as it will be, it has performed very well. Firstly, the side pockets hold regular water bottles (16.9oz-20oz) very well. I haven’t had the opportunity to try larger, but I think as long as the bottle is round, I could go a bit bigger. The front pockets are not very wide- you could fit an iPhone 6 or 8, but some larger phones or bulkier cases may not fit so well. The main compartment is in the back, which is great for security. There is a zippered pouch inside the flap which is large enough for a credit card holder and your keys, with some room to spare, and there are two open pockets in the inside- I keep my phone in one and sunblock in the other. The main compartment was big enough to hold my backup sandals (size 9 women’s, wide), wallet, gimbal, a water bottle, one of those phone chargers that’s bigger than the phone, a T-shirt, small container of leftovers, and I still had space to work with. I tested it out with my sneakers before I added the water and leftovers, and I do think it would have still held everything. It distributes the weight evenly, is pretty comfortable to wear, looks really good, and the straps are easy to adjust. The do twist at the bottom if you’re not careful, and you want to be sure that the purse strap is removed or hangs over the front before putting it on as a backpack. The purse strap does work well, but it’s slippery and not adjustable. It hangs a little low for my personal comfort (lower hip on me), but I’m assured that it looks good and like a regular purse when wearing it that way. The strap clips on so it’s easy to replace if you have one you like better. The hand strap is nice and sturdy, and I find that I use it more often than I’d expected. I don’t think it’s real leather, due to the thinness and small sample fabric scrap that came with it, but if it’s not, it’s a much higher quality imitation than I’m used to seeing. Over all, I’m very pleased with this purchase, and would definitely recommend it.

I’ve never written a review because nothing has stood out to me that much but this backpack deserves an EXCELLENT review. Let me say I’ve order a handful of different backpacks from Amazon and this is even better than the one I got from Nordstrom that was twice the money. This is super functional, it’s comfortable and has plenty of room. I wouldn’t suggest it for carrying around items needed for a new baby but I use this everyday and I also have 3 1/2 year old twins so I do have quite a few things I need to tote around on the daily. This is hands down an excellent buy. Even if you don’t use it cause you don’t have kids then I still would recommend this. It’s stylish and the leather is so soft but durable. The zippers are placed exactly where you would need them and I love the idea of getting into the backpack from the back zipper. Didn’t really know how I would like it but now that I’ve gotten used to it, it’s a great concept. The straps are easy to adjust which is so important. It has side pockets so you could put a bottle water or juice cup. It has two inside compartments that are a functional size to fit a pair of sunglasses. I could go on and on but if you’re in the market for a backpack that’s functional and stylish then I would highly suggest you pick this!

I love this bag. It’s the perfect size for me. I have a toddler and I needed something I can have a few diapers and wipes in, as well as carry some snacks and our waters. It fits all of that PLUS my wallet 5x7x3 wallet/clutch. I keep my sanitizer available in the outside open pocket for easy access. I like having he main access to the big pocket in the back. It doesn’t feel bulky when I wear it. I like the front pockets bc they fit any little extra items I may need and don’t have to go into main pocket for it. I don’t use the extra strap provided to carry over shoulder. But I keep it in one of the front pockets just in case. There are 2 open pockets inside for phone or keys, but I use it for my headphones. It’s been about a couple weeks of use. It feels sturdy and doesn’t she signs of Being poor quality. It’s just a really good looking bag without looking like an actual backpack. I can wear it and keep up with my toddler, while I take my older kids to their activities. I want to buy another in another color. You can see the pictures how much I have in it and it’s not bulky when it’s closed. I happened to have extra small carrying pouch with extra clothes today. Normally I don’t have it in there. But it worked just fine.

i’ve been struggling to find a cute backpack that will fit my 15” macbook, and this does the job! it’s cute and lightweight and i like all of the extra pockets. my only grievance is that the picture of the black bag does not accurately reflect the hardware colors - the description does say the hardware is black, but the photo shows a reflective, ALMOST silver color, and in person the zippers are completely black and matte. i chose the black one specifically because i liked the contrast of the zippers in the photo, so i’m disappointed in that. otherwise the bag will do its job

Great bag! I bought the previous version of this bag a few years ago and it was great. It needed to be replaced becuase of wear and tear so I went to buy it again. This is an updated version and its even better.
