These lights are perfect for my tree! I have a 7ft artificial tree, and 500 lights covers it really well. The warm white tone is beautiful, and pretty close to old fashioned Christmas lights. I also like the option to have colored lights. This year, my family likes mode #5 which is 2/3 white and 1/3 colors, so it glows kind of pastel. I haven’t noticed any flicker, either. I have not tried the timer feature built into the lights. I plugged the tree into a wifi outlet and that works perfectly, turning on every day (with Google home) and remembering the lighting mode I last used. One nitpick: the remote has to be pointed directly at the plug in order to work. So I have to stand right next to the tree and point the remote underneath. I’m a huge fan of warm white lights. The cool-toned LEDs just don’t cut it for me.. THESE lights however, are perfect! They have som fun color options if you’re into that. I love these lights for my artificial tree. I received the tree from a friend recently. It was only used one time and came with permanent lights . Since they were the old style they ran hot and some were faded. I chose to replace them with this new set of led lights that run cool. I love the different settings, it works off a button on the plug or a remote. You must point the remote directly at thr plug to work. Beautiful set of lights. Just be careful when you unpack the 100’ set as the cord can get twisted easily. It gave my older tree new life! ... show more

Terribly thin wires, I wouldn’t even use these lights indoors. Wasted several hours carefully installing just take them down because a wire broke. Several more wires broke as I was taking them down.

These lights are super cool!! They are REALLY long. I know you can choose the amount of lights and I wanted a lot, but I didn’t realize how long it would be, so the wire is oddly visible on my tree. I love the remote and features, I love that you can adjust the light level and they were obviously easy to put on. My only complaint is that they don’t “twinkle.” I’m sure it probably says the in the description, but I specifically searched “twinkle Christmas tree lights” and this was the first that popped up. I mean, there’s a blinking feature if you want to give yourself a seizure, but it’s not what I was looking for. Overall they look very nice!     • A lot of lights for the money; more reliable than most. Lots of color options

First of all, all of the LEDs are " hardwired" which means no sockets and removable lamps. While that may sound like a downside, it's just the opposite; the reliability is excellent! With most removable lamp light strings, even though they have reliable LEDs, the connection is the same old type that used to be on the incandescent lights for decades. The lamp wires are just bent and shoved into the socket. The point where the wires bend is the weak spot; they always seem to break there causing large sections of those lights to fail. Since these are soldered onto the wire, no such weakness exists. The lights are bright, and have numerous modes and colors, controllable either through the included remote, or by the push button on the plug. I accidentally cut one of the wires mid-string, but 10 minutes with a soldering iron and I had the whole thing back online and working like new. The only negative to these lights is, there is no female AC outlet at the end of the string. Not a big deal because they're available in such long strings, I can't imagine needing to Daisy chain them. Bought a second one for our tree we liked them so much. Also, they're available in warm and cool color temperatures so that they can be matched to your existing lighting. Definitely would buy again. ... show more

Update November 2025: this is my 3rd year using these lights. Just wanted to come back and give that update. Not a single bulb out. And I have my Christmas tree lit every day, at least 5 hours a day. I ended up buying a small extension cord for my tree topper, cause the cord that came with the topper wasn’t long. So that solved the end to end problem with the lights. And an update about the setting being saved each day, it IS doing that. Not sure if I did something wrong originally. I only have one complaint and that is that at the end of the lights there is no way to connect my tree topper to it. But I’ll figure it out. I also wish that they could make it so some of the bulbs stay solid color while alternating ones flash white. I knew it didn’t do it when I got them, so that’s just a suggestion. I usually put colored lights on and leave them solid and then I put a different strand of cool white on and have them flashing so that it stands out a little bit and it makes it really pretty. But otherwise these lights have a beautiful color and they alternate into different variations of those colors and they’re very pretty and very bright. I think my dog ate my remote or something because I can’t find it but using the switch works as well. Also, another small thing is I have my lights on a smart plug, and when they turn on each night, it doesn’t save the last setting that it was on. So since I can’t find my remote I have to crawl under the tree and find the right setting again. I wish it kept the setting once they turn off and on, but that’s not enough to dock a rating because I truly love them. I ordered the set of 500 and it was enough for my 7 foot tree. ... show more
