An instant success! My boy loves it. He had a Vtech pull behind electronic dog that would always fall over due to the wheel placement plus the string was extremely short. It would get him so frustrated. When I saw this cute giraffe with nice big wheels I ordered it. It arrived today and my son is so happy. It rolls around very smoothly. Only giving it 4 stars because I like the caterpillar better. This rolls beautifully, the head bobbles back and forth delightfully and the colours are bright and attractive and seem to be holding up to chewing. And since I have twins, good to have two things to pull. It really is a pretty toy on the shelf so they often reach for it and love to give it a push or a pull and watch it float along. They just need help when it tips over or gets tangled which is not a problem for the caterpillar. ... show more

This was a present for 1 year old twins (they also got the BRIO dachshund). It is a real hit. Now that they are walking better, they love pulling it around. Mom loves it too because the paint is non-toxic. She also loves that it is a quiet toy :-) I also had BRIO pull toys for my son over 30 years ago. I read, after purchasing that the item was made in China, not the USA or Germany. I am concerned about the paint used in the product. I have read where children's toys have been painted with lead based paint when completed in China. While the product was made well, I would feel much better about the Pull Along Giraffe if I could be assured there was no lead in the paint used. If so, I would consider returning the toy as this could be a serious situation. Your reply would be appreciated. ... show more
