I have a sliding door that I absolutely hate! I dont have the money to replace right now so i thought I would try to hide it. While trolling DIY sites I came across this ivy fencing and thought I would try it. It worked out beautifully. I made a simple frame the size of one door from spare 1x2 lumber I had. I then stapled a piece of lattice to the frame, stapled the ivy to the lattice, cutting off the extra length I didnt need. Mounted it to tje top of the door frame and placed a water fountain at the bottom. I had several strands of small pink flowers in my craft stash so I added those to the ivy as well. I love the way it came out. I now notice the ivy and not the door. I used the extra piece I had left to make a much smaller version so nothing was wasted. It came folded, not in a roll, but I laid it out in the yard under a scorching sun and it flattened out easily. The smell was awful upon opening but after being outside for a few hours you didnt even smell it anymore. I had all of 3 leaves fall off. Overall I love the way it turned out and for a very doable price. Would recommend! ... show more

This is a folded up piece of mesh with plastic greenery. It does look cheap though. You get what you pay for. It came with plenty of zip ties to secure it. Worked well for my needs. With that said, I must add that it had a strange chemical smell when I opened it. I used it outside so not a big deal. The smell will likely dissipate anyway. If you are looking for a cute ivy wall to maybe add a neon sign in front of... THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. I repeat, keep looking this is not for you. Got this for the half wall behind my diving board by my pool and it looks like an army bunker or hunting blind.
