This is a good addition to my home gym. I have free weights, a weight bench with leg extension and have another heavy band with handles already hanging from a collar tie, so I use this only for chest rows and tricep pushdowns. My previous set up for those really put a lot of pressure on my door, so this strap resolved that problem nicely. Even with the strap tight, it pulls pretty far away from the door, but that does not in any way hamper its use--I'm glad I was warned in the instructions. But they need to either ship 2 sets of handles or have them available for sale. (I did see another set on Amazon which ships with two sets of handles, but I cannot find anyplace to buy an extra set of handles.) This provided more than I needed, but it was still worth the price. I don't know that I would have paid substantially more for the set that came with 2 handles. ... show more

Overall it's a good kit; easy to install and to travel with. 2 suggestions to improve it: 1- The clasp is bad and MUST BE REDESIGNED; it doesn't keep the door anchor tight and causes it to loosen. I fixed that by adding 2 zip ties before and after the clasp and tightened them 2- there should be 2 more handles because it's not practical to switch handles from band to band in the middle of an exercise and we shouldn't have to buy more bands just to get the 2 extra handles Do I regret buying it! No but the kit can get better.. real easy! ... show more

My first product arrived, and the clasp that tightens the strap to the door broke. The sellers immediately sent a replacement. I was able to set it up and use the different strap levels to do a whole routine of exercises! I love the multiple levels and hooks so that I can vary the types of exercises I do. Very beginner friendly!!!!! Slapped it on my door in 2 seconds. Literally so easy to put up. Its kind of lightweight/flimsy so if youre more experienced, go with something more sturdy and a little more expensive. (Feels like if youre too strong, itll snatch your door off lol). I have been trying to use resistance bands for the last year and a half since going to physical therapy (PT) and getting help learning exercises to strengthen my shoulders. I had tried wedging the band between the door and the jamb, etc, etc. Finally I just stopped doing them and my shoulders got worse again. I already had the bands, so I just got the anchor strap, and it has made a huge difference for me. I don't like doing the exercises to begin with, so any additional setup/inconvenience was too much. The strap just stays on the door all the time, closer to the doorknob, which has worked fine, because my husband hangs his pants on the back of our bedroom door. I grab the resistance band, thread it through the space, and then do my exercises in about 15 minutes. No effort, has not *moved* since I put it on the door. My cat occasionally plays with the extra bit that hangs down, but so far that has not caused any issues. It's as secure as when I put it up 2 months ago. Be prepared for the anchor strap to pull away from the door a bit when you pull towards you - it's supposed to do that and not lay flat against the door, so give yourself a few extra inches. I literally have like not even 3 feet to do my exercises in but this makes it so easy that it's enough. So grateful for this brilliant product! It is strong. I can hang all my straps on it. If you only want to use one end of strap. You can put the handle thru another loop higher , then feed thru loop at the height you want. It will hold it very well.. I was going to construct a wooden bracket on wall for this. Am very happy that I found this first. Love it. ... show more
