I installed one of these check valve vent tubes on my gas cap and it worked for several weeks. Unfortunately one day it fell off and the rest of that ride had me getting doused in fuel. I was about to race an enduro so I ran to a motorcycle shop in Flagstaff to buy a branded option they had on the shelf and it fit so much tighter. Might be okay if you use a higher quality piece of tubing that fits tighter. I installed one on mine and my son’s four wheelers and we lost both of them on the first ride.

These vents do not have a one way valve in them. So the gas can run out if laid on its side.
