I bought the cards mainly for the 4-color suits, which makes a 4-of-a-kind poker hand easier to identify. I love the custom box, but the manufacturer chose to use sticky tape to hold the lid with the bottom. After removing the tape, it unfortunately leaves a sticky residue on both the lid and the bottom. Sadly, this means that I will have to throw away the custom box, and put the cards in another card case instead. As other reviewers have said, the paper quality of the cards is just OK. The quality is noticeably lower than a regular deck of Bicycle cards. The Bicycle cards have an air cushion finish, making them easier to shuffle, and more luxurious to handle, than these Brass Monkey cards. And, I would have preferred if these cards were made of plastic, not paper. Paper is less durable, especially with kids who have sweaty hands, and paper is more likely to be bent out of shape. ... show more

Suits are separated by 4 different colors. For a seasoned card player, it takes getting used to, but perfect for kids. And they are just fun.

Cool looking cards for a gift, maybe, but for a better deck that shuffles great, go with the old standby brands. I use Modiano poker cards. Love how they feel when shuffling, and how they can survive water spills really well
