TLDR: I came for the multi-med dosing; I stayed for the faster med dispense. PROS: •CLEAR MARKINGS •DURABLE •DURABLE CONTAINER (BOX) •LARGE SIZE = MORE POWER TO SHOOT MEDS INTO PET'S MOUTH •EASY TO HANDLE CONS None. The only thing that might be cool is if the box included a few caps so that I could pre-load doses or run after my cat without losing the medication, but those would be a "nice to have." Another "nice to have" would be a med dispenser that could hold a treat or food somehow to mask the medication. Review: Originally purchased so I could fit two medications at once.* The vet had given us 1.0 mL syringes that took FOREVER to empty and couldn't hold both medications (I was trying to reduce the amount of times I had to hold the poor guy down). These 3.0 mL syringes allowed me to shoot the meds to the back of my cat's mouth! Much faster, and much less drooling. Also, they were easier to clean for re-use than those small syringes. We also only got one syringe with the medications (from the vet), and those 1.0 mL syringes broke down over time; their measurement markings wore off, too. These markings didn't wear off (tho I tossed them after 2 or 3 uses). The box held up well, even though I frantically shoved my hand into the box sometimes. *CHECK WITH YOUR VET BEFORE DOING THIS. Some drugs shouldn't be mixed. These syringes helped me give my cat two meds at once; I cannot recommend it because I am not a vet and *maybe* was wrong to give two meds at once. These are so affordable and really high quality. I don’t need the caps so I buy the ones without caps. I love that they’re individually sealed so I can take them on the go and they remain hygienic. I’ve reused them a few times when I’ve run out unexpectedly and you can get a good 5-10 uses out of each one before it starts to stick and drawing up liquid becomes difficult. I really hope these don’t get discontinued and they don’t raise their prices. ... show more

    • Great for dosing pet medications, but ink comes off easily
We use these for dosing out pet medications, and we don’t need them to be sterile or anything so we rinse and reuse and generally get a few weeks out of each syringe. What we’ve found though is that the process of filling, using, rinsing, and drying is enough to start lifting away the ink fairly quickly. As the whole point of using a graduated syringe is being able to read the markings, this is not a good thing. So, if you’re buying these for reuse or if you’re the super clean type who would prewash these before using, this particular brand might not be a great choice. In addition, the tolerance between the plunger head (the rubber part) and the cylinder body isn’t particularly tight. Once you’ve got a fluid draw going, you’re good, but starting a draw from dry can be a little irritating. If you run into this, draw a little water first, or pre-wet the parts separately and then reassemble. If you’re wanting to use these for a super viscous fluid though, even that might not be enough. For strictly one-time use though, these should suit most users just fine. They’re each individually wrapped for sterility, and the packaging and such is great. ... show more

    • Great Value - Very Glad I purchased the box
I am so glad I purchased these. I thought I will never use them all but I didn't know the uses I would find for them. I give my 2 dogs medicine everyday, and they hate it and know when I am trying to sneak it in their food, so they won't eat it. I gave up and put the pills into one of these with a little water, and put in their mouths with this. The size is perfect, they have enough force but not too much. No needles and they are strong enough to withstand a few nibbles from the Chi children. Because the price is great, I can toss them after a few uses and not feel guilty about it. Then during the New Year Festivies when the sulfer from the fireworks in the neighborhood was too much for some little eyes, these syringes helped Moms when they needed a steady hand to wash out those eyes.
