For how cheap it is, it’s a good bodysuit. It has removable straps, which I hadn’t noticed when I bought it. It’s a bit thin, as you can see the color of both my tan bra and underwear through the fabric. It’s fairly compressive, only in the middle. It’s a full-bottom cut, with three hooks in the crotch. It handled being washed, it’s color is accurate even if a bit sheer, and it’s good for layering beneath clothes just to smooth things over. I ordered this girdle from Amazon hoping for something that would smooth my lower stomach without feeling like I couldn’t breathe — and honestly, it does a pretty good job. Before putting it on, my lower belly naturally sits forward (especially relaxed). Once I put the girdle on, it definitely smoothed everything out and gave a more streamlined shape. It doesn’t completely flatten your stomach like those super intense waist trainers, but it compresses enough to make a visible difference. Pros: • Good mid-level compression — firm but not painful • Smooths lower belly and sides • Seamless enough to wear under clothes • Comfortable for a few hours at a time Cons: • It doesn’t suck you in dramatically if that’s what you’re expecting • You can still see slight contouring if you’re wearing something very tight • Material shows some stretch lines when pulled snug Overall, I’d recommend it if you want everyday smoothing and comfort, not extreme snatching. I bought quite a few I had to return. I absolutely loved this one. It was not suffocating at all and was comfortable. I usually wear size 3x in clothing, 18 in pants and I went with the XL-XXL. I also removed the straps because of the clothing I was wearing and wore a half bra because I am larger chested, I am a 42H and it held up well. It’s very easy to put on and didn’t have to struggle much but it took a few wiggles here and there lol. It’s also very lightweight and washes in the washing machine easily. The majority of the reviews say to size down (I’m 5’5 and about 140lbs and usually wear a medium so I ordered a small) and it’s the right way to go. Pro’s: • It fits snugly and is easy to get on. • It sucks your waist in a good bit but if you’re trying to completely eliminate your love handles and mom pooch (like I desperately wanted this to) this isn’t for you. This helps lessen those areas but doesn’t “fix” them. • It didn’t budge all night. I wore it to work the first night I had it and it stayed in place through a whole bartending shift on a busy night. No slipping or readjusting, no discomfort or soreness after having it on for 8+ hours. • The top is very giving so if you’re busty and wondering if you’ll still be able to wear your favorite bra under it, probably yes. I’m a 34D and I was able to comfortably wear a push-up bra under it with no issues. It actually helped hold my bra and the girls who usually have a mind of their own in place. HOWEVER there is VERY little support up top. So if you’re hoping to use this as a bra substitute as well - unless you’re blessed with perfectly placed and perky tatas and don’t need actual support - it ain’t happening. • The straps are adjustable (and they stay where you put them) and detach so you can cross them if needed. They also didn’t dig into my shoulders or hurt at all. Con’s: • The main issue I have with this body suit is the fact that the closure at the bottom is eyehooks (bra hooks), not snaps. Peeing was an adventure. Especially if you’re in a hurry. Unhooking and rehooking those damn hooks in a rush was annoying and difficult. Comfortable and cute. It works for tall girls, kinda. I am 5'11 and although it could use an extra inch or two in length, I have to emphasize how hard it is to find a one-piece anything that works for tall girls. I have seen the complaints from shorter girls in the comments and I can confirm this would probably not work for you if you're on the shorter side, like less than 5'6". You do want to size down with these if you look for a slimming effect. If you're looking for more comfort just stick with your regular size. Was also pleasantly suprised that the top part accommodates large chest size. I don't have to wear a bra with it and that is a miracle. I'm triple D.
