Though it seems strange to go back to pre-dryer days, there is nothing wrong drying the way nature intended, probably a lot kinder to your clothes and the enviroment. This Brabantia helps if you need a lot of space in a small footprint. Very sturdy design and seems like it will stand the test of time much better than the $40 models also available. Comes with a short plastic tube to concrete into the ground (or use a piece of plumbing pipe - I used an empty sealant cartridge as a temporary solution) but sadly no metal screw/spike and no cover included in the package. I ordered this companion product for around $20 and it's a perfect fit - Brabantia 42 01 46 Rotary Cover Assorted Colours for when you aren't using the lines, and should protect it very well. Totally Awesome!! Wife Loves it!! The only issue I have is that the plastic ground mount is NOT suitable if your yard gets a lot of rain. After one night of heavy rain it wouldn't stand upright. Solved that with a metal mounting post and inserted the clothes line within. Problem solved.
