I bought these to replace my deteriorating NRS booties . I went thru everything Amazon had to offer & settled on these LUCKY DAY !!! The soles are just thick enough,have plenty of grip ,extend up over the toe to prevent the dreaded stubbed OUCH !!. The Neoprene is quality material thick enough to insulate & stretchy enough to make getting in &out easy. THE zippers are top quality & are protected by an.. around the ankle velcro strap.There is also an adjustable velcro instep strap for better "fitment".lastly there is a kick off cleat just above the heel ,something long overdue .

I wear a women’s size 8 but bought the men’s size 6 and they fit perfectly and are very comfortable- only downside for me was the ankle was tight so it was hard to get the zipper up - but worked just as well wrapping the ankle strap. They kept my feet warm. The bottoms are nice and thick, I wore them on land and stepped on a large thorn and while I felt it only a little bit, it didn’t hurt and barely penetrated- I had to use pliers to pull out the thorn

I use these for cold sand volleyball nights. The fit is great, the zipper makes them easy to get into, and the strap holds them securely in place. I was a little worried about the zipper irritating my ankle but I don't even feel it. These are thicker than what I needed but have been great with zero issues and keep my feet warm.
