I paid about $55 for my queen sized after buying the same blue one for my son and loving it. My white one has a slightly more crinkly fabric but everything else is 100% the. Same. They are very fluffy even though they have an average fill power. This blanket is better quality than my $150 down blanket which had a higher fill power and was still always flat looking and started falling apart from the inside. I am very pleased with the quality of this quilt. There was no smell as to speak of. I purchased two of these. I did run both through the dryer for 30 minutes each as recommended. I slept under one and it wasn’t too heavy. I highly recommend this quilt

OMG, I love this comforter so much! I upgraded from a synthetic down alternative, and I can't even describe the difference. I look forward to getting into bed every night now. It was a bit crackly and stinky when I opened the package, but a run through the washer and dryer solved everything. It's light but warm and cozy, and it just gets fluffier with time :) ... show more

Super pleased with this comforter! No weird smell when I unpackaged it. It does come in a small box and is vacuum sealed, I threw it in the dryer for about 20 minutes to fluff it up and it worked perfectly! Lightweight and not too hot. It does make a crinkly sound but that’s just down comforters for ya, I don’t mind it and I love it! ... show more

    • Not what I thought, despite reviews - more of a winter comforter

I was really excited to get this comforter and I bought it for an October trip to Montana where I was worried I might get too cold. It ended up being a bit too warm though! It was a mild October there, maybe mid 30s at night, but I would wake up all sweaty. I am now using it in Chicago where its been 40s and 30s end of Nov and it's still way too hot. Also it is kind of itchy - the feathers are really pokey and big and as others reviews said, it is really loud and crinkly. My partner also sleeps hot and he doesn't even want to be under it, he says it's too heavy and hot. The only plus I like about this is its really fluffy and poofy and heavier, which I personally like to feel some weight on top of me. Perhaps it will be better for colder Chicago winter. I SO wanted this to work but it is not what I was hoping for. I think I will spend a bit more money to get a softer fluffier down that is lighter weight.
