I got what I expected. Different woods. Different thickness. The person who complained about them being too thin....I would have loved that box. And one complained about live edge and a little rot,,... I would have loved that for my art. Sot you get what they were cutting on the day they packed the box. Might or might not be what you want. but is still stuff you can use.. you can flatten the small boards easy. I am very happy an will order another one when this is half gone... did take a long time to arrive.

I received an assortment of walnut (lots of walnut!), aromatic cedar, maple, oak, cherry, and knotty pine (just a bit), plus a few intriguing boards that I cannot identify. My boards range from scroll-sawable thin to about about 1/2 inch thick. The grain patterns are lovely-- in a few cases dramatic--and one includes bark with decorative potential! While some are slightly cupped, and some have a few cracks (I can see why they're scrap), with a bit of creative cutting I think that all will be usable. Whoever packed this box knows hobbyists! USPS initially lost my shipment, but the seller promptly addressed the issue. I'll definitely buy again.

Took longer for delivery than expected. However, when I contacted seller that I hadn’t received my package, I had a prompt reply and package then shipped quickly. I ordered thin scraps. Thickness varied from 1/8 inch to 3/4 inch. Almost all were roughly 12” long, anywhere from 3” to 10” wide. Several different species of wood. Some sanded and some not. I’m using these to write prayers and Bible scriptures on to place in between studs before insulation and Sheetrock on our new home. I started out writing on the lumber directly but now it’s the heat of summer. This is a good option to get to trickier spots and placed quickly while I prepare the wood at my leisure, at home, in the a/c. Great quality and variety for the price. Much better than cheap quality craft wood for virtually the same cost.

This product is as described but not really worth it to me. My box was mostly 2" wide by 12" long and various widths. I was expecting more 3-6 wide pieces from the other reviews and pictures. I would return the item but there is a restocking fee so I'll just keep it and find uses for them. if you are looking for thin (1/8-1/2) pieces that are 2" x 12" then this is the box for you

I really wanted to get this as I wanted a variety of diy craft items in my home. I literally received a box full of super thin wood pieces. It looks like they cut them all at one time because there wasn’t no variety! It does say 1/2” and below. Not one board was 1/2” and most boards are bended. No use what so over

I wasn't sure exactly what I was going to get (isn't that the idea?). I was a little disappointed at first. There was a LOT of thin wood. So thin that it bends with even the least bit of pressure. It was probably half thin wood, and then half a little bit thicker. All 12" in length-ish, with varying widths and thicknesses. I did figure out that if you glue some of the thinner stuff together you can get an interesting plywood-type wood, and you can mix the colors. It worked out pretty well, so I'm happy! I wish I would've known ahead of time how much thin stuff would be in there because I probably wouldn't have ordered it. Oh well, live and learn. Still fun! EDIT: I'm a dummy and ordered the box labeled "Thin Wood" so I can't complain about that, haha. Came as described. Will buy again!
