I got what I expected. Different woods. Different thickness. The person who complained about them being too thin....I would have loved that box. And one complained about live edge and a little rot,,... I would have loved that for my art. Sot you get what they were cutting on the day they packed the box. Might or might not be what you want. but is still stuff you can use.. you can flatten the small boards easy. I am very happy an will order another one when this is half gone... did take a long time to arrive.

I received an assortment of walnut (lots of walnut!), aromatic cedar, maple, oak, cherry, and knotty pine (just a bit), plus a few intriguing boards that I cannot identify. My boards range from scroll-sawable thin to about about 1/2 inch thick. The grain patterns are lovely-- in a few cases dramatic--and one includes bark with decorative potential! While some are slightly cupped, and some have a few cracks (I can see why they're scrap), with a bit of creative cutting I think that all will be usable. Whoever packed this box knows hobbyists! USPS initially lost my shipment, but the seller promptly addressed the issue. I'll definitely buy again.

Took longer for delivery than expected. However, when I contacted seller that I hadn’t received my package, I had a prompt reply and package then shipped quickly. I ordered thin scraps. Thickness varied from 1/8 inch to 3/4 inch. Almost all were roughly 12” long, anywhere from 3” to 10” wide. Several different species of wood. Some sanded and some not. I’m using these to write prayers and Bible scriptures on to place in between studs before insulation and Sheetrock on our new home. I started out writing on the lumber directly but now it’s the heat of summer. This is a good option to get to trickier spots and placed quickly while I prepare the wood at my leisure, at home, in the a/c. Great quality and variety for the price. Much better than cheap quality craft wood for virtually the same cost.

Delivery was earlier than I expected , but I have ordered this item 3 times and the last 2 times I've gotten more lighter colored wood than dark if it was equaled out, and i received a few real thin pieces that i don't know what I'm going to do with because of them being too thin ,I would have given it a 5 stars if it wasn't for that .

Good deal, mostly cedar and a few oak, only 4pcs were what look like walnut. Was a gift for my wife, she liked it well enough. Would buy again with less cedar. Shipping was a bit slow, but did arrive in time.

I really wanted to get this as I wanted a variety of diy craft items in my home. I literally received a box full of super thin wood pieces. It looks like they cut them all at one time because there wasn’t no variety! It does say 1/2” and below. Not one board was 1/2” and most boards are bended. No use what so over

I wasn't sure exactly what I was going to get (isn't that the idea?). I was a little disappointed at first. There was a LOT of thin wood. So thin that it bends with even the least bit of pressure. It was probably half thin wood, and then half a little bit thicker. All 12" in length-ish, with varying widths and thicknesses. I did figure out that if you glue some of the thinner stuff together you can get an interesting plywood-type wood, and you can mix the colors. It worked out pretty well, so I'm happy! I wish I would've known ahead of time how much thin stuff would be in there because I probably wouldn't have ordered it. Oh well, live and learn. Still fun! EDIT: I'm a dummy and ordered the box labeled "Thin Wood" so I can't complain about that, haha. Came as described. Will buy again!

The box does come as described on the thinknesses. However I ordered this because there was variety listed in the description. I do understand it's the luck of the draw but it doesn't even look like they tried to fill it with variety. It's all 100% light grain wood. Most of that being the same variety. They didn't even attempt to make the box have a little variety. If I could see that they tried. I would be extremely please because ordering cut offs is the luck of the draw. Based on this experience I can not in good conscience recommend this product to anyone else based on the description they provide. It seems to be quite misleading based on what I received.
