LIKES: Really nice colors and material, love being able to carry my stuff on my back rather than over my shoulder (no pinch points, more comfortable), ball, shoes, glove, rosin bag, + all fits nicely. DISLIKES: none to report. HOW USING: I have my own bowling ball and shoes so I have had to keep them in an over the shoulder bag for years and I hated it. It was always awkward lugging that bag and ball pinching my neck and banging into doorways or shelves. Having the bag on my back is so much more comfortable and easier to walk around with. RECOMMENDATION: Yes, for the comfort alone I would recommend this bag, but it is also classy and definitely worth the price.

This backpack is useful if you plan on taking the stairs more often and only have 1 ball. Rather than wheeling a ball around and waiting for an elevator (if escalator is broken or none available), you can take the stairs. The ball compartment has a bottom pad with a hole in the middle to center the ball. I wish it were thicker so the ball is lifted further from the ground to avoid ball contacting the ground. There’s a strap that also keeps the ball in place. That’s useful especially if you forget to zip the flap. The top compartment intended for shoes is a bit small for my 9-1/2 size shoes unless you bend them. I use it for miscellaneous accessories instead. The back side has a zippered access where I store my shoes on top of the ball separated by a liner. This area is also for a power bank that connects to the provided USB A cable extension. It’s not a heavy duty bag but it does the job for a 15 pound ball. I feel a lot of stress on the top straps when using it. I feel it will last as long as you treat it gently; like no running with it. Overall, I like the concept and will use it when I intend to bring only 1 ball.

The backpack design made me skeptical, but this actually makes this bag easier to carry than a standard bowling ball bag. It has a built-in support ring for the ball, and plenty of room for your shoes, support glove, towel, rosin bag, and anything else you should need to carry. and the adjustable straps make it suitable even for kids who bowl. Well made too, strong and durable-feeling materials. A good value.

While initially intended for bowling, its versatile design and spacious interior have made it an excellent hiking backpack. One of the standout features of this backpack is its generous width. This would probably be a decent bowling bag for someone with small feet, but I can't even force my size 12 shoes into the shoe compartment if I fold them up and pound them in. It's definitely made for much smaller shoe sizes. I can't tell you where the cutoff is because I don't have any shoes that are small enough to fit into the shoe compartment. It has enough features for someone with minimal needs and small shoes, but I simply cannot use this as a bowling bag. I was about to return it, but realized I could repurpose it and kept it.

Good variety of pockets: Right side zip pocket. Left side split mesh open pocket. The back zipped section gives access to the whole volume of the bag, as ball and shoe pocket sacks are collapsable and share space with that rear compartment. Unfortunately advertised 16 shoe size definitely will not fit, maybe 11. The bag material looks good and feels sturdy. I’ve pulled handles and nothing cracked. Pass on a simple test. There is an opening for a single USB outside outlet, useful for having a power bank inside. USB wire can be detached and removed if not needed. Presence of some chemical smell. Probably comes from padding inside, hidden elements tend to be replaced with cheaper materials. Not great. One less start for smell and wrong expectation of shoe fit as only my most compact shoes can fit in that compartment.
