  • Versatile
Versatile for table top use, or as selfie stick, or as a carry along tripod, cell phones.

  • Breaks easily
The top part of the tripod that holds the phone broke right after the return window closed. Seems to be designed in a way that there is no easy way to fix the most easily damageable part of it. I had to superglue the part back on for now but can’t rotate the phone holder anymore.

  • Camera remote could use some markings
Tripod is fine, but the camera remote is harder to deal with than it should be. The instructions say to charge, turn on, pair. There are no details or troubleshooting. However, we did figure it out. We marked on the remote which way is on and off because it is just blank, and that can be difficult when your kid is in a hurry. ... show more

  • Very Unhappy
This product is a piece of junk. The camera isn't straight and it slides down when using the stick as a tripod. I tried to return the item but learned I have to pay for return shipping. Why is that information not included in the product description?

  • Cheap. Won't last. Drains phone battery fast.
I really needed something I could use for taking photos while outdoors ... it is surprisingly hard to find a quality item for that purpose which includes bluetooth remote, etc. I'd pay 2, 3 or maybe even 4 times the price for something more sturdy. Bottom line, as others have mentioned, the construction on this is cheap, cheap, cheap! The legs feel like they are likely to snap off just upon opening them. They are connected with a small plastic hinge. There is no way this will last a long time. Beyond that hinge, the part that expands to hold the camera feels like hollow plastic and given the force it takes to open and close this onto the camera, my guess is that it will last a month, at best, before it snaps. You can just feel how cheaply made it is. Essentially the two most crucial pieces to make this function are the camera holder and the tripod legs, both of which the function would be lost if they fail. And they will. The bluetooth paired with my Android immediately, however to say it's quirky is an understatement. It is almost impossible to use it discretely when recording a video and often I find that even though I press the button, it does not start. So when I press the button to stop it, the recording actually starts. This happens 8 out of 10 times. Lately I've pressed the button twice to start and once to stop and then the same problem happens with stopping the video. Very rarely will I actually be able to start and stop a video when I want to. The camera works better taking single shots. I don't have much of a problem with this feature ... however, the Bluetooth absolutely drains the battery ... I was recording a 10 second video and due to the problem mentioned before, I had to do it in 15 takes. The battery had drained from 70% to 15% in only 20 minutes. If you take this out into nature to record or take photos using the Bluetooth, be near a charger or have a reserve battery pack! For this reason alone, I am returning! Another weird thing is that in order to take pictures, the device must be semi-visible to the phone. Meaning, it's hard to hide the device ... you basically almost have to point it at the camera and click it vs. hiding it behind your back or in your pocket. The device itself has jagged plastic pieces that come out where it clips onto the tripod for storage making it very awkward to hold. I can't believe they designed it this way. The metal extender pole is nice. I had no problem with it not holding the weight of my cell phone. There is no way it would support the weight of a DSLR camera and stay upright. Another big flaw is that the tripod is tippy as the legs don't lock into place and the pole slides around inside the ring, so getting a level shot is not easy. The little ball valve which swivels at the top is not level and you have to do some real work to make sure the phone is straight and not tilted. Also, you have to tighten the screw very tight in order to get the camera to the correct angle ... and the metal is cheap. Either the screw will break eventually ... or the metal on the ball it screws against will crush. No doubt about this. Overall, if you are looking for an almost disposable product that won't last ... but something that will be small enough to toss into a backpack or purse for selfie taking, I guess this will serve its purpose. I returned mine. Any suggestions on a high quality version of this would be welcome. ... show more

  • Don’t waste your money!!
The media could not be loaded. Purchased this self stick when I left my regular one at home when I left on vacation. It’s was $29 and I quickly realized it is a waste of money. It is flimsy and wobbles around a lot. Sadly my phone dropped out of it 3 times.
