Bourjois Healthy Mix No.51 Light Vanilla is my favorite everyday foundation. I discovered it a few years ago and was hooked. It's long lasting, it doesn't get cakey, and it doesn't enhance fine lines when blended well. My light skin is normal to dry and has slight yellow undertones. Light to medium coverage bb/cc cream. Somewhat matte/drying so make sure you use a good water based moisturizer before application. Also, order one shade darker, it's lighter than screen/photos portray.

I have skin issues so I am very picky on cosmetics. I have used several products and they were ok, but this is perfect for me. Middle aged skin, acne prone, very sensitive. This goes on lightly and doesn't cake. It can be layered for a stronger affect, but I usually don't need that because it works so well. I mix two shades in summer and use the lighter in winter. I had purchased this years ago and never really used it at the time because my skin was super oily and I really needed a matte formulation. Skip ahead about a decade and returning to doing a full face of makeup, I needed something that was a lot more hydrating and this is it! Very easy to apply with a blender or stippling brush and covers my cheek redness nicely. It does get a little oily on hot or high sweat days but still looks good. I haven't been using any concealer with this either as it provides enough coverage and doesn't settle or crease. I got the shade 52 Vanilla which may not be a perfect match "on paper" but am very happy with it. I am fair with freckles so cool with red/pink undertones. One thing to note that I learned after purchasing/using this and will go into consideration before purchasing again is that this is not a cruelty free product. ... show more

Granted, I only ever wear full face makeup for special occasions, or a night out on the town, but I wanted something for those nights. I was worried that it wouldn't match my skin tone well, but it was absolutely perfect! I applied with a little brush, and it honestly felt like I was putting on a light moisturizer! Not at all heavy or cakey! I used the matching powder on top to finish it, and I love it just as much! They has a light, fresh, floral like scent, and blend incredibly well into my combination skin!
