Style: Playhouse without Blower
To be fair, we just recently purchased this water slide / bouncy house, and it's got about 4 hours of use so far. But, I thought we would get our initial impression captured and update as/if appropriate. Set-up was extremely simple: you just unroll the thing a little to find the inlet, connect the inlet to a blower, and start it up. We purchased the version without a blower, and then purchased a 1,000 cfm unit on Amazon for $130 to make sure we had plenty of air to keep it inflated. It took maybe 15 seconds to inflate, and became very solid. We set it up on a light duty tarp to provide a little extra protection for the bottom surface. After getting it inflated, we washed it down for five minutes or so to remove as much manufacturing remnants as possible, and then sealed up the drain plug and filled the pool. Once stable with granddaughter bouncing and sliding, we routed the tubing for the two water sprayers. This was a minor problem as the tubing was kinked in several places, but placing it out in the sun for an hour softened the plastic and the kinks came out easily. At the end of the day we just shut off the blower and let the water run out, let it sit for a half hour, and then carried it and the tarp into the basement. It'll come back out tomorrow. The weight of the material seems pretty sturdy, and all the seams appear to be put together well. Time will tell how it holds up with more use. One ral positive about this company worth noting: about two days after it was delivered and before we had a chance to set it up, we logged back onto Amazon to check to see what the footprint of it is so we could pick up a light tarp to put under it. Surprise, the price had dropped since the week before. We contacted the company and they quickly refunded the difference! They were under no obligation to do this, but they did without hesitating, so right about now we are very happy with both the product and the company. We'll see how it holds up for the balance of the summer and provide an update. ... show more

    • Great product for little, little kids
Style: With 750W Air Blower
My six year-old LOVED this thing, but she was close to the age where maybe she was getting a little big for it. I would say seven or eight is too old. That being the case, I decided to send it back because summer is almost over and I was worried she would be too big for it next summer (bored). The product itself was great, except the sprayer hoses had some funky weird stuff in the nozzle heads that obstructed their proper spray function. We just used a hose to keep the slide wet, and that was fine. The company was fairly responsive to an email requesting a different hose, but during the time I was packing up the hose for shipment to return it, I noticed this product quite a bit cheaper online, by $30. We originally paid $599 which seemed high. In the end, my daughter enjoyed the slide for a few weeks, but we decided to send it back and buy a pool instead (which is more age appropriate). We had to pay to ship it back, which is reasonable, but it wasn't cheap (think: at least eight bucks depending on where you're shipping from). There was one big problem with this jumper slide from a functional standpoint, and that's this: it was a chore to pick it up off the ground every night, and it wasn't easy to store. Leaving it on the ground would've invited mosquitos and dead grass, but we did leave it for a few days at a time. If you buy it, invest in a pool toys caddy, a big one. Otherwise, you've got a huge, heavy deflated jumper laying in your yard, or possibly your pickup truck bed. All in all, this thing would be great for little, little kids, like the three to six range. My 3 year old grandson loves this product. He can play for hours. It blows up and deflates quickly. The only negative is the pool design. When coming down the slide into the pool, he often flies right out of the pool. The side is too low causing a safety hazard. I have it on a grassy yard so he doesn’t get hurt. If used on a hard surface such as concrete, there is a real risk of injury. Other than the pool design problem, it is perfect. ... show more

Used this about three times so far and the kids (2 and 4) have had a great time. Three tips: 1. Get the green and yellow one, it has a double wall all the way down the slide, read a few reviews about kids going over the side of the other version. 2. My two year old was not a fan of the ice cold water that comes out of the hose. Hauling a few buckets of hot water from the kitchen sink and adding them to the pool at the bottom allowed him to get in and enjoy himself. 3. The gun and sprayer above the slide spray out pretty hard and again - freezing cold hose water. Littles might not like it, but you kinda of need some water going down the slide to keep it slippery and funny to slide down. We ended up ditching the sprayers that come with this and just putting a garden hose with attachment on mist setting into one of the hand holds at the top of the slide to get enough water to keep it slippery but not spray the two year old with freezing cold water. ... show more

Very dissatisfied. The measurements that are included in the pictures are wrong. We thought this slide would be bigger but it's definitely small. I have emailed the seller to discuss the wrong measurements. If anything is done about this (which I doubt), I'll update this review. My 2 kids did enjoy playing on this though but we wont really be able to use this for their birthday party like we had hoped. Edit: also, there is a safety hazard that a child could potentially fall off the back when at the top of the slide because the bounce house is not tall enough to stop this from happening. ... show more
