I struggle to find the right sized purse for what I carry on a day-to-day basis. I love crossbody bags, but they just don't hold enough and they're difficult to go through when you're looking for something in particular. This purse is the closest I've come to the perfect size. It's still a little big, but it's easy to find items even on the bottom. It is made of very soft vegan leather. It appears that it is truly leather as it doesn't look cheap or fake, and it feels like leather. The straps are a little thin, but they hang at the right length for my 5'1" frame. It hangs at the bottom of my ribcage, so I don't feel crowded when I walk with it. It opens fairly wide, so it's easy to put items in or pull items out. There is a bigger slip pocket inside the purse that I put my phone in; however, I wish it was a little deeper as my phone sticks slightly up over the top of the purse. There are two other slip pockets inside that I put my lip gloss and car key in. There's also a large, zippered pocket that I keep small items like gift cards, gum, money and loose change in, so they don't slip out of the purse. My only real complaint about this should bag is it has a magnetic closure versus it being zippered. With these types of closures, you can lose things easier and if it tips over, your items tend to spill out rather than remain contained within the purse if it was zipped up. It's sold at a very reasonable price given that it's made of vegan leather. Despite the closure problem, I do recommend it. ... show more

This is my second Bostanten handbag. I just love the quality of their products. This bag is vegan and is constructed with a supple leather like material that is soft to the touch. The brown color is quite attractive with a rich warm hue to it. This purse is quite roomy on the inside and can hold everything I need with room for a book. Nice. The inside of the bag has a zippered pocket to keep items safe as well as some stitched loose pockets on the other side for items you need to reach easily but don't want floating around your bag. The quality of this bag is exceptional. The little details like the straps of the bag being tied into little knots to keep them in place adds a subtle pop of interest to the design. The bag is very versatile due to the length of the handle on the bag it could be carried in multiple ways. This is my new everyday purse and I'm loving it! The color is a nice neutral brown that matches anything, I don't even mind it when I'm wearing black! The size is perfect. It's large enough to hold everything I need but keeps me in check so I don't get tempted to pack too much and have extra weight to lug around. There are just enough pockets to organize things but not so many you can't find anything. The material is leather like and like anything "faux" may not last forever but after a few months still doesn't show any wear. The magnetic clasp makes it easy to open and close. BOSTANTEN makes decent quality handbags, purses and belts for the women in our life. And I may have figured out a longstanding mystery as to why some ladies tend to horde, or a kinder word may be to collect. The reason this happens is that they simply can't find find the RIGHT type of purse or handbag. And for many different reasons. They are too small, too large, of maybe have pockets located in the wrong place, or maybe no pockets at all! I sometimes wonder if all of those fashion gurus ever make any effort to please middle class girls/women. So sad; I often see my own wife get frustrated for some of the reasons noted. She liked the Bostanten brand of shoulder bags. She loves the green, animal free materials designed to mimic leather, but then see where the company uses synthetic plastics like polyurethane or polyvinyl chloride PVC. Some of these models use "forever chemicals" That take decades to flush out of out environments. So, it is easy for a woman to get what she doesn't want, only to find this out when she gets home. But the BOSTANTEN shoulder bag pulled her in to make the sale, but THEN she ended up not liking the pocket locations (inside the jacket), However, after wearing the shoulder bag to several events, the pocket locations stopped bebothering her as much. ... show more
