I was looking for a new purse with a cloth/woven strap, my previous purse had pleather strap that just chipped and wore off after a while causing rough edges that caught on things like sweaters. I looked for a while at many different bags and I ended up choosing this one for a few reasons, Firstly, this is the same brand as my wallet that I bought a couple years ago and use fairly regularly and it is still in practically brand new condition, no cracks or breaks in the material. Second, the price was more in my range compared to items of similar style and quality And lastly, I generally liked the overall appearance and design of this bag more than any others that I looked at. I have had this bag for a few months now (got it not long before Christmas) and so far I am not disappointed at all. The strap length is easy to adjust but also holds firm so it doesn't just slip to the longest length on you. The strap is thick woven material and the pattern is vibrant and consistent. I really wanted to love this bag ... and it's soooo close. My complaint - if your purse is light (I carry a wallet, phone, keys), the purse will flip upside down when you lift it by the strap. If I neglect to close the purse, it will dump on the floor. I don't want to have to adjust my bag every time I lift my purse from the back of a chair or the floor. And I don't want to add weight just to fix the problem. I do love the strap. It's thick, durable, feels good on my shoulder. And because it's adjustable, it can be made into a cross body.
