  • İts cool device…
Style: Guitar
It has some good sounds right out of the box… Like 20 or 30 good sounds… The rest is just gimmicks… But to customize any effect it’s not so easy for beginners… When you customize any effects are you Gotta know what you’re doing…. Too much details and you can get lost it

  • Takes the place of the 200 series oedals
Style: Guitar
This unit has a more accurate sound thanks to a better d/a converter. It's a compact model of the top of the line GT-1000 which costs a lot more. Nita Strauss uses it in concert and she was guitarist of the year 2019.

  • Don't Let the Effect Count Fool You
Style: Guitar
The amps all sound the same... Almost like they're just different variations of gain or brightness. It a lot of cases, overly bright. Though, I think when you dial it in, they really responsive and fun to play. Boss still makes a sub Par reverb. And with this unit, it leaves a lot to be desired. Even if you think, yeah, I can just combine parallel paths and make my own cool stacked reverbs, NOPE! The predetermined signal chain doesn't allow you to. You're stuck with short tail, sterile verbs. They need better compressors too. The routing is flaky too. Counter intuitive. And knowing boss support they're likely not going to update the unit anymore than they already have as of Oct 2022. There are better platforms out there that allow you think outside the box. OR jump into this thinking youre going to need to add to it. Unless you're a keeping it simple and in the box, playing classic rock tunes or funk tunes. ... show more

  • Amazing sounds but tricky user interface.
Style: Guitar
This thing sounds fantastic - the sounds can compete with HX Stomp, but the user interface isn't nearly so straightforward. I ended up returning it simply because I didn't want to tackle the learning curve, especially when the Line 6 sounds more or less just as good at a substantially lower cost. Ironically, my favourite reverb on the HX Stomp is Ganymede, which is apparently an emulation of the Boss RV6 modulated plate, but the Line 6 ease of use is just impossible to beat. ... show more

  • Waaaay better than HX Stomp
Style: Guitar
I've had the HX Stomp before and this blows the HX Stomp out! Sound, feel and the expansive amount of effects. BOSS is the BOSS!

  • Great Value
Style: Guitar
Still evaluating. Chose the Core vs the full GT1000. Ease of use in live performances may be an issue. Sounds great; great features and quality.

  • Good sounds but needs work.
Style: Guitar
The sound quality is sampling rate is a step up from the GT 100. However, I find that this unit makes kind of poor use of the presets. None of The sounds are good synth emulations for solo guitar which is a complete head scratcher for example. Not super user friendly.

  • 250 sounds effects
Style: Guitar
This is a must have for any player professional or novice the sound quality is excellent. You have 250 sound effects/ patches and the ability to make 250 custom for yourself...mmm not including the additional sounds you can connect with the boss/Roland site. This has midi, mini usb to connect to other electronic devices and the chain combinations for other pedals. I got mine today and played for over 4 hours to find a few favorites effects not to mention the nice compact design. Nita Strauss she explains in 1 minute and 21 seconds on you tube like she made this machine it is one of the reason why I brought this machine to complement my krog Pandora box with 128 effect when i play. Today is 6/24/2021 this is an update I haven't even scratch all the features what this powerful machine can do, yes there's more! I can tune my guitar and loop my music that I play I still brought the rc-5 looper station 13 hours of recording always helps too. then there is the amp features like choose the katana 50 or the katana 100 out of the amp selections for the sound very flexible and customable it has it all. pack this in a bag and you're portable for your next jam you can assign the bass guitar and your lead guitar and play at the same time...mmm wonderful! ... show more
