  • Ford speakers sounded better
Style: 5x7" Red
These speakers have almost no bass. I replaced the factory speakers in my F150 because one was damaged. I replaced the damaged speaker with one of these and compared to the other factory speaker. The stock Ford speaker had MUCH better bass and volume. I will spend a little more and get better sound.

  • Excellent option for low cost speakers.
Style: 5x7" Red
Added these speakers to a work truck. Long days on the road and having some tunes can make a bad day better sometimes. Sound quality is good for the price, definitely not high build quality but I've had them for a year now and they are still rockin'. If they do fail now I'd say I got my money's worth. If you need some extra speakers and dont want to spend alot you cant go wrong with these. ... show more

  • They can get REALLY LOUD!
Style: 5x7" Red
These are excellent stock speaker replacement to be run with a stock radio. However, if you put an amp behind these, the damn piezo tweeter gets insanely shrill and the only way to tame them, makes the rest of the sound very muffled. Very fatiguing to listen to for long periods. Fantastic power handling, great bass for the size, it's just the piezo tweeters that are the deal breaker. Want stock speaker replacements? Get these. Want good sounding speakers for an amplified aftermarket system? Look elsewhere. ... show more

  • For all the one star people out there
Style: 5x7" Red
These are great speakers for the money from a stock sound system in a car Clearly you aren’t going to get a lot of bass from 5 x 7’s they’re not sub woofers you only get a certain amount of amps from a radio channel without going through an amplifier. Yeah of course crank it up it’s going to sound distorted and broken because you probably just blew them out not meant for that. When it says 300 W it means that’s what they can handle up to you they may not sound good like that but that’s what they can handle without blowingit ou when it says 300 W it means that’s what they can handle up to they may not sound good like that but that’s what they can handle without blowing out. otherwise great speakers ... show more

  • Great value
Style: 5x7" Red
I got the 300W pair. The front speakers in my car never worked and I got these so I could have some sound from the front. They do the job pretty well. They are noticeably quieter than my rear speakers (I used the same wiring, too). Pros: -Value - they sound surprisingly good for $25. -The kit was great, comes with everything you need. Cons: -At higher volumes, the sound quality drops a lot. That's really it. I haven't had any physical/mechanical issues. Install was straightforward. I'm happy with the value (good sound for such a low price), I just wish they were a bit louder. Bottom line: If you've only got $25 to spend on a pair of new speakers, you won't be disappointed with these. ... show more

  • Totally worth the $$
Style: 5x7" Red
Great value for the money, direct install minus the wiring. There are available pigtails for that however. Build quality is great, but sound quality, in my opinion, left more to desire. Still superb in comparison to my oem speakers

  • Decent product! Decent sound!
Style: 5x7" Red
They sound better than the old ones in had wish they had some more bass. They fit kinda tight in the rear in my 94 Nissan Pathfinder

  • DO NOT fit a 93 Pathfinder
Style: 5x7" Red
Even though the Does It Fit said they would these DO NOT fit a 93 Pathfinder. The problem and frustration that I found was that the holes are slightly off from the originals and the flange along the edge isn't quite as flat as the originals and there is no way to make these work unless I actually cut out the metal in the door and roof which I'm not about to do. It's frustrating that the industry does not set a standard. I tried 4 sets and finally found the Rockford Fosgate worked but still with some modification. I did hook one of these up and as they are they sound decent for door speakers. I built a trunk where I have two 6 X 9s and an amp that give me bass so for door speakers all I want are the mid and higher levels. ... show more
