Works suprisingly well

I bought the first one of these blades from the recommendation of a firefighter friend. I have access to most all metal cutting tools: torch, plasma cutter, & bandsaws. I pull these out for cutting straight edges on sheet metal and thin plate to 1/4" thick. The cut edge is clean with of course no slag. You do have to be prepared for: 1) They are a bit noisy 2) The shavings. I recommend safety glasses and a face shield to be fully comfortable when using this blade with a standard saw. ... show more

Works better than advertised. No kickback. I'm a newbie, and it felt like I was cutting fat... and not the very hard UNISTRUT being cut. I had to stop midway just to check if there was any actual cutting. You don't feel anything... except for the little bits that fly as it cut into the metal. No more flying sparks

Carborundum blades suck,sparks and bits of the blade flying everywhere.Not with this blade.Cut four layers of 29 gage roofing without effort,could do more ,cross cut forty 2 foot wide pieces and made ten ,ten foot length cuts and its still sharp ,woulda used ten of the others
