You can never have too many drill bits. Regardless of how careful you are, you will occasionally break a bit. This is a nice all-purpose set... the most commonly used sizes of wood, metal, and masonry bit are included along with nut drivers and screwdriver tip bits. The quality of the drill bits is average... not cheap, but not super high-end. For the typical homeowner or DIY’er these will work great... and for the price, you get a lot. The storage case is nice, securely latches, and more importantly... all of the bits, drivers, etc., stay locked in their storage slots. ... show more

The case is brilliant, and that's what you're paying for here. It's right in the middle between soft and brittle and it feels like you could throw it off a building and it would be fine. The bits all fit in very snugly and can take some effort to remove. That's the point. When you look at how tough this case is, it's obviously designed to survive being dropped, and guess what happens with easy to remove bits when their case gets dropped? They pop loose. That doesn't happen here, and that's clearly the intent. Shake this thing as hard as you can and nothing comes loose. You can barely hear anything RATTLING everything fits so snugly, which again, is the point of this kit. The quality of the bits is not high. But this is a TEN DOLLAR KIT with an amazing case, how much quality did you expect to get from FIFTEEN bits? Bosch sells EMPTY bit cases for $6. Now subtract the sockets, adapter, screwdriver bits and holder, and what are you left with? The combined value of all those drill bits can't be more than $2. It's pretty plain to me that you're supposed to replace them as you go with higher quality bits. Had they all been regular quality Bosch bits, this would have been a $40 kit instead of a $10 kit. Instead you can replace what you need and build the kit the way you want. I call that flexibility. When criticizing this set, do it in the context of it costing $9.99. ... show more
