    • Update - stopped working.
Update stopped working drove less than 100miles before it failed. Super easy to install, probably took about 15-20 min max. Doesn’t come with gasket, had to get one at the local parts store. Giving it 4 stars for now only because there are no instructions on how to have your ecu relearn rpm’s. I wouldn’t doubt that people return this part thinking they got a faulty one. When you first change it you’ll have high rpms at idle and your throttle will be a little erratic while driving. Just let car idle for 3 min in park, then turn off for 1min, then Idle again for 3min in park. If that doesn’t bring idle rpms down then drive it for about 5-10min above 40mph. If you don’t want to do any of this you don’t have to, you can take it to the stealership or your mechanic and have them reset it for you with their computer. You can expect to pay anywhere from $150-$200 for them to do this. ... show more

I have used and sold A1 Cardone parts in the past and they are a very good company. But my part was defective and was actually worse than my original that I was replacing. I understand that some parts are easier rebuilt then others. But this part did not fix my problem.
