  • The wipers were easy to install and they offer a clean wipe
Size: 26A Style: Single
BIG ADVICE (for any replacement) ... put a towel down on the windshield when you replace. I replaced my blades this past week. I took the old blade off and put the naked wiper arm into extension so that I could unbox the new blade. Uhm...the arm didn't catch/lock so it snapped down and shattered my windshield ... in the blink of an eye. I can't blame them though -- that was my fault. The wipers were easy to install and they offer a clean wipe. ... show more

  • Terrible Blades / Unsafe (& Zero Customer Support)
Size: 22B Style: Single
I bought these with high expectations. I had a 2600 mile road trip over the holidays and wanted new blades. For over a decade (best guess) I have bought Rain-X Latitudes for all my cars. I have absolutely no complaints about Rain-X, I just happened to see that Bosch had come up in several positive articles/reviews. I thought I would give them a try - boy was that a costly mistake. Over the course of that trip we dealt with rain (50% of the travel out and back) and snow / ice while we were there. The blades did an extremely poor job clearing/cleaning the window. The best way to describe it was that it was getting it 80% clean (at best) and leaving a layer of dirt on the window. The space in the middle of the windshield where the passenger and drivers side blade over lap was terrible. In heavy rain, it wasn't as noticeable, but after the rain let up was when it was bad. No matter how much washer fluid I used, it would not "clean" the window. During the course of that trip I tried wiping/cleaning the blades - no difference. This morning I finally gave up. We had a light snow last night and I had to drive 1.5 hours. While there was no rain/snow coming down, just 1.5 hours on a wet/salty interstate that required a lot of cleaning. These blades are just terrible, and with the passenger side 50% or more dirty I gave up. I got home and unloaded the car and then saw old Rain-X Latitude blades laying on the workbench so I put them back on. 5 seconds of washer fluid and a couple of wipes the windshield was pristine again. The age of these blades were 1 month on the vehicle. They are absolute junk and I believe it is safe to say that I have never owned a worse pair of blades (and paid so much). I'm hard pressed to even say that I've had an old pair of blades as bad as these - they simply don't clear / clean the windshield. Call me crazy - but when I drive I like to be able to see, these blades clearly are just bad, or I got two very defective blades. I in no way am affiliated with Rain-X, but those Latitudes while pricey are spectacular. I'm guessing the ones I took off are a year old and they are far superior to the Bosch. The only way they are 40% longer life is if the expected life is measured in hours. Update: I reached out to Bosch for support on these windshield wipers. I was not able to get them replaced. Additionally, Bosch support never even bothered to respond (2 weeks now). The only positive was that I did discuss this with Amazon Customer Support and they offered to take the product back even thought I didn't have any of the original packaging. I then did what I should have done from the start - I ordered the Rain-X blades that I have always used in the past. Put those new blades on - worked as I anticipated they would. 5 stars to Amazon, zero to Bosch. ... show more

  • Bad streaking after only a month! ---UPDATED!
Size: 26A Style: Single
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE (1/10/18): I called Bosch and told them about my problem. They said this sometimes happens because of the amount of time that the blades sit in Amazon's warehouse. They offered to send me another new pair directly from them at no charge. I received them promptly and they work perfectly. Great customer service from Bosch. I am updating my review to 4 stars as the wiper blades do what they are supposed to do! Original Review (10/24/17): I have only had these blades (16A and 26A) for a month. During that time it has rained only a few times. However, these wiper blades are already streaking so badly that I feel unsafe turning them on at all (see photo and video). Perhaps I got some lemons, but the performance of these is really awful. I am going to have to replace them after only a few uses, which is unacceptable. I highly recommend that you find an alternative option! ... show more

  • Blades don't match description
Size: 22OE Style: Single
I'm not sure what the deal is with these Icon blades sold by Amazon, but these blades claim to have an Asymmetrical spoiler which means the little spoiler should be off center to one edge (which also resembles my factory blades). Twice now the Bosch Icon 22OE blade I have received from Amazon has the spoiler in the center of the blade. My truck also takes an 18OE blade which I also ordered from Amazon, and the spoiler on it was on the edge like my factory blades. This made my blades look mismatched. So I called up Bosch's tech support number and talked to a guy there and he confirmed that the spoiler on these blades should be along one edge and not through the center. He said maybe an evolution series blade was possibly packed in the wrong box, but to have it to happen to me 2 times I think it's a different issue. I ended up running to a local well known auto parts store and bought a 22OE blade and the Asymmetrical spoiler is along the edge like it should be. The one from the parts store also came packaged with several more adapters to make them work with many different models of vehicles and the Amazon blade came with none other than one that is pre-attached to the blade. I attached a pic of the amazon blade I received along with the parts store blade I purchased. The top blade is the amazon blade and the bottom is the parts store one (which should be what they all look like) I also attached pics of the packaging. I just don't understand why they are so different so I am giving these ones 1 star. ... show more
