If you find this review HELPFUL, click that HELPFUL button. May sister wanted to try this kinds of templates so we end up buying this one and here is her experience using it. Remember she is a first timer using one of this. 1.Tranferring Design Since she is new to this she had a hard time transferring the design on her nails, reminder this one has no stamper included only the template. Eventually she learn but still hard to have a clean transfer of the design. 2.Kind of Nail Polish According to her, she believe it needs a good kind of nail polish for it to transfer great to her nails, I personally don't know what kind she is talking but maybe take consideration the nail polish to usebecause it can affect the result somehow 3.Quality As of the day she bought it she only happens to use 2 templates, she hid it well enough at it seems it will last just clean the template well and store it properly. I belive she just need practice using it and watch sime tutorials how to use it as well but I believe for a first timer using it, just take consideration that it would take time knowing how to do it and someday it will pay off. ... show more

First pic is first attempt. Second pic is second attempt. Second attempt is much cleaner :) Please excuse my messy sides, the pic is before cleaning them up! First time nail art stamper here. Bought these to use with the "Ejiubas" nail stamper. First attempt did not lift at all & had me worried at first. Was unsure if it was the stamper, the plate, or just me being a novice. Was worried I would have to "prime" the stamper, as this was something I did not want to do. However my 2nd attempt lifted when I moved more quickly and LIGHTLY rolled over the design (instead of pressing down firmly like I originally tried). It transferred onto the stamper this time! Quickly pressed down onto my nail, holding it for a few seconds, and lifting. I slightly botched the first one on my nail, however by the 3rd attempt on my second nail it came out perfectly! Also: on the first nail, I accidentally swiped too many times with the top coat and slightly smeared the image. On the second nail, I used alot of top coat and made sure to use as few strokes as possible & trying not to go over the same area more than once. That one came out great! ... show more

I've been experimenting with nail art this year and have been using brushes/pens to draw designs. However, I recently found these nail plates. These are SO much fun to use. However, they aren't perfect and sometimes will take multiple attempts to transfer the designs. I spent some time when I received them practicing different techniques and found that even though I do things the same way, the designs may not always pick-up the same. It just takes patience. However, when they do work - they look awesome! I've easily been able to create Ombre designs using multiple colors. The one issue I have is that some of the templates are a little small and if not transferred properly, can pick-up some of the nearby template designs which you may not want. You just have to be careful to use a stamper that is sized properly to transfer only the designs you want. Overall - these work quite well if you have the patience to keep trying and master the transfer process. ... show more

This is a great set for a beginner or if you want to bump up your collection with several plates for holidays/seasons and some solid basics. I've now tried most of the plates, and almost all images stamp really well. I've had an image or two I just couldn't get to stamp, no matter how many different polishes/stampers/scrapers I tried. But, it really was only one or two out of all the images on all the plates. Otherwise, I'm happy with them and I think this is a really good price for the set. All have a plastic backing so you don't cut yourself on the plate, which is a good thing. They also come in individual cardboard sleeves to protect them. ... show more

The designs are so charming, and most (but not all) designs were cut to the right depth to hold polish for stamping. (I’ve had relatively more trouble with the large area stamps.) However my major issue with these plates is that if you use 100% acetone to clean them, it etches the plates. So far, this etching hasn’t been deep enough to affect stamping, though. Super easy to use once I got the "right" polish, which wound up being a super inexpensive drugstore bottle. Then it was just making sure I didn't overload the plate, scraping quickly, and picking up the image. I used a base & color all in one gel and used the drugstore polish for the stamp. Topped with a glossy topcoat and my nails are super cute. I mixed random patterns just to play and love this so much! ... show more

The designs are wonderful. It’s why I purchased this set. The problem is, the plates were not engraved deep enough. The plates do not hold enough paint to transfer. Tried several paint brands, several different colors and multiple stamps. All with no success. Compared to other plates in my collection, the patterns in this set is half the depth.
