A breeze to install. Perfect fit. Great sound. Driving through the neighborhood it's surprisingly quiet, but romp on it on an open road and WOW. Throaty and deep. Best part is cruising on the freeway there is no drone. Literally the sound fades away into the background and seemingly disappears. Have a C5 Corvette? Well, you need this exhaust system to realize the full potential of that LS 1 engine. Unlike the factory mufflers and pipes that are all welded together these Borla mufflers and pipes are all bolt together items. You can install this system without a lift as long as you just cut off the factory exhaust with a Sawzall in strategic places. It helps if you have 2 floor jack to use on either side of the vehicle to get in it the air but be sure to also use jackstands as additional backup just in case of floor jack failure. Safety is always more important than the job. Oh, and they do look and sound just that good on the car when the LS 1 comes to life at the turn of the key. ... show more

I just put the 140427 with the 60087 X Pipe on my 2003 C5. I wanted a more aggressive sound than stock but not so loud we couldn't carry on a conversation when driving down the road. They sound great when accelerating but quite when crusing down the road. They are defiantly louder than stock. I do wish they were a little louder but not at the cost of being to loud inside the car and I was afraid the ATAK would be to loud. Overall I'm quite happy with the choice. ... show more

These are what this car needs. Couldn’t go with the Atak since I thought it would be too loud but these are deep tone and sound shading. Look great with stainless steel tubing
