This set is the 'S' version with mid-range sound levels and no drone at highway speeds. It was a great buy and installed in about 1/2 hour. Sounds great and looks even better with the two Borla exhausts out the back.

Borla generally is one of the best manufacturers of exhaust systems however, the quality of the ceramic powder coat was very poor quality. Only after 25 miles of installation, I noticed several areas where the powder cost had already flaked off. I assume it was only a matter of time before the entire exhaust would peel off so I immediately removed it and requested a replacement. Unfortunately a replacement was not in stock so I went with the stainless steel look instead. Overall quality of welds and install was flawless. I just think that I got a defected batch. Not sure, but wasn’t willing to risk it after spending over $800 for the system. ... show more

I installed this on my 2018 JLU Rubicon. The muffler was packed well but still came with the inlet pipe slightly dented--just enough to not fit. This was easily fixed and installation was pretty straightforward. I will say the exhaust hangers on the JL took quite a bit of work to unfasten the stock muffler. I bought a hanger tool, but the diameter of the "U" was slightly too small for the Jeep hangers. After a little grinding, the hanger tool worked, but even then it takes some work. The workmanship on the muffler is first class and the sound is much deeper than stock. When cruising at constant speed, you might not know it's there, but when you dip into the throttle, it will make itself known. ... show more
