Probably one of the best of this type of game I've ever played. It brings out the inner nerd of the nerd within you to maybe even their inner nerd. Three inner nerd levels deep.. The weapons aren't just one's bigger than the other, You out to set up a skill tree by trying to understand cryptic descriptions of various augments and capstones. A subcommunity has evolved in trying to match and pair each of these traits that you can select with the limited number of skill points together to make your character more powerful. The visuals are incredible and they gameplay is as smooth as can be. The first game like this was called Doom, and this is Doom exponentially modified with 30 years of additional technology. It's a really good game and you can decompress because you're out trying to figure out what weapons pair with what skills. You try to find the skill build to make you almost invulnerable but some work and some don't. So if you keep getting killed with the various bosses on each level or attempting, you got to go rebuild the skill set to take on that particular boss.. I can't even go into The sophistication they put into it. It's challenging if you really like to craft solutions to everything. On top of all that they put out codes called shift codes.. you search for every couple of weeks that give you keys to Golden Chests that hold weapons to make your job easier.. But only the exclusive few who subscribe to lake PlayStation 5 or whatever and subscribe to shift get to use the codes. So everyday I'm sitting there looking for new shift codes. And instead of releasing a game they know the people love this game, You find areas where you can choose to spend $15 or something for a whole new level of that game. I recommend this game I think it's great. As a matter of fact, I don't think you'll be playing any other game for a long while after you get this one. Creative technicians at shift And gearbox games have really have outdone themselves with Borderlands 4.

Borderlands 4 delivers the chaotic gunplay and endless loot the series is known for. Combat feels smooth and satisfying on PS5, load times are quick and solid visuals. While the story isn’t the strongest and there are a few minor performance hiccups, the overall experience is a lot of fun—especially in co-op. A great pick for fans of looter-shooters.

It’s been a blast to play so far, ignore the bad performance reviews. Yes, it has had its issues for me so far, definitely some lag/loading situations I’ve run into. But everyone is so impatient and critical of games in the first 2 weeks that it’s ridiculous. Gearbox has always been good about patching/updating the game to fix all of these initial issues and making the game better during that first month. The storyline is amazing, the side missions and story’s have been great, I’m having an amazing time. I don’t have experience with co-op yet with this one, so reviews about co-op might be worth listening. But if you’re going solo and have loved any previous Borderlands game, get this right meow! It’s a great and long play, tons of loot, and minor hiccups that are so worth overlooking.

Open world Borderlands with seamless co-op support. The story is much better and more interesting this time around and Claptrap is back to bring goofy and 4th wall breaking rather than being annoying. Very large game with over 60 hours of content and tons more when playing with friends. Performance isn't perfect but well above acceptable on PS5 Pro. Also lots of content to added overtime.

Love the game. Have it for Xbox digital and play with my husband but bought this as a bday present for my brother. Him and his wife have also been loving the game. We have all been playing since the first so it was a nice bit of nostalgia. Story is a bit lame as is the dialogue at times, in my opinion, but the game play is spectacular
