I'm a 5ft-5in labor & delivery nurse and 17wks with my 3rd child already feeling the discomfort when laying on my side. I purchased this because so many of the other pillows push husbands out of the bed (and I still kind of like mine right now... so far haha). I spend A LOT of time at work helping mamas position themselves in bed in a supportive way so they can rest through their labors and found that this pillow was kind of lacking when placed between my thighs (as shown in the listing photos) BUT when I used the smaller part of the pillow in the gap between my WAIST and the bed, it was suddenly PERFECT. I can still angle it to support my growing belly, and now it helps to keep my spine in alignment too! It's hard to choose from only 5 stars, but I knocked off points for it being a bit too short to support a full term pregnancy (no matter if you use it between your thighs OR your waist) and because the fill leaves something to be desired as it flattens out pretty easily. I would HIGHLY recommend Boppy offer this alternative placement to moms in the suggested positioning! ... show more

I started using this Boppy Cuddle pillow during my second trimester. For reference, I'm 5'11" tall, so definitely not your average bear when it comes to height. Initially the pillow was quite comfortable, providing support for my growing belly and proper alignment for my hips. After some time, the tail end of the pillow started becoming flat, no longer providing alignment for my hips. Now that I'm in my third trimester, I fold a king size pillow to provider hip support. I still use this pillow to hold and also provide some support for my belly; however, it's a bummer that it became flat over time. ... show more

I bought this pillow with my first pregnancy. The design is perfect. I tried lots of others to help get comfortable enough to relieve sciatica and hip pain. This was amazing through two pregnancies! I bought a second one for this third baby and the stuffing sucks!! I’m having to add my own stuffing to it. What’s really sad is I’ve recommended this pillow to soooo many people but now I tell people they are better off making their own. ... show more

I bought this pretty early in my pregnancy (like 6 weeks or so) as I'd already needed a pillow between my legs for my knees and then almost immediately when I found out I was pregnant I could feel the need for belly support and using the little couch cushion sucked having to turn it when I rolled over and it would Just slide out. Just after I got it I found out I was having twins which is why I needed support already as I'd had a messed up c-section with my daughter so my lower abdominal muscles were totally painful immediately plus I have a disease where my tendons and ligaments are messed up so I had no internal support from day 1. Being able to turn with this pillow and have it stay both between my legs and belly were immediately a godsend and sleeping was no longer super painful!! Love how it's super soft and the cover can come off to be washed! I'm 25 weeks now and have used it every single night since I received it. Literally only complaint is there isn't much stuffing in the belly part. I keep forgetting but when I finally do remember I'll be picking up a bag of fluff to stuff the belly part up a bit more! Still I love how its small (even though we have a cali king bed so size wasn't a big deal) and absolutely LOVE how It moves with me at night when I roll over and stays comfortable without needing to be adjusted except to replace it if I get up to pee a million times! I fell back to sleep one night without putting the pillow back in place and even after just a few hours of sleeping without it I was in pain for days! As I said its perfect in every way, just needs a bit more stuffing in the belly portion. As I'm only 25 weeks with the twins and already my belly is larger than when I had my daughter (at least I know this would still be the best pillow ever full term with one baby! Lol) so we shall see how things go as I get even bigger and bigger! I just know without the pillow I doubt I'd be able to function during the day starting from like 8 weeks on between my disease and botched c-section messing up my internal belly support!! ... show more

Pillow is fluffy, but not as supportive as I needed. I feel like it also could’ve been a little longer. I’m 56 and felt like it didn’t go to the top of my belly if it was in between my legs. I think it’s a good idea. Just need to be bigger. I felt like I got more support with a king size pillow. Again like the idea I feel like for women that have smaller torso it would be better ... show more
