    • Perfect to Give Your Garden an Early Start
Color: Black Size: 5 Packs
These are my favorite seed starting trays. They are perfectly self contained and fit easy under my grow lights. They are durable and will last multiple seasons. They are a great value for the money.

    • Really Great!
Color: Black Size: 5 Packs
I've been searching for a seed-starting tray that is 1) self-contained, 2) easy to use, 3) will last more than a season or two, and 3) doesn't cost an arm and a leg. These are filling the bill! They are still thin plastic, but better than the big, floppy 72-cell trays I've gotten, and they are indeed self-contained, since they have a tray so water doesn't drip all over, a clear top with vents, and even labels. The lid is thin enough that when the spinner to regulate humidity is pressed into place, you have to use 2 hands, one on the bottom to support the lid as the little prong is stabbed into the top. Works like a charm, though it's good to make sure you will really use it, because once the prong is pushed through, it's not coming out again. They have a nice taper, so that the cells can be easily removed once the plant's roots fill the space. Some might quibble that these aren't that big. That's true, but I'm the sort who'd rather re-pot viable seeds that grow, rather than waste huge amounts of seed-starting mix, space, and time on big cells that come up empty. And the truth is that 12 is plenty enough for most plants, with the space I have. ... show more

    • Quality seat starter trays that hold up well
Color: Black Size: 5 Packs
This is a very good seed starter tray. The tray thickness is of heavy duty, the separate cell tray seems to be of good quality as well. The dome is nice and clear and makes good contact with the tray. I wouldn't handle the dome parts roughly though as it does have a tendency to bend easily. Having a set of five allows for a lot of versatility and growing a variety of plants separately from each other. This is ideal for different germination times. Overall a very good value and would recommend ... show more

    • Love the design of the cells; not tapered!
Color: Clear Size: 60 XL Cells
Nice quality, really like the square bottoms of the cells rather than traditional tapered cells. A bit pricey compared to other disposable trays. I will try to get 2-3 uses to offset the price. Time will tell if the clear is better than black cells and if they are durable enough to reuse.

    • Sturdy not flimsy
Color: Clear Size: 10 Packs
They are sturdy not flimsy. A tad smaller than what I had in mind but will work fine. Very good product.

    • Good seed starter, but tough transfer
Color: Black Size: 5 Packs
These trays sprouted my vegetable seeds in a couple days, so no complaints there. When I went to transfer them to larger pots is where I was a little dissatisfied. The pods are a little small so it was somewhat difficult to get the plants out with all the dirt and several of the plants pulled out of the dirt. So in summary they worked great for seed starting, but not the easiest to transfer from ... show more

    • Perfect trays for LetPot pod transitions
Color: Clear Size: 5 Packs

I was looking for nursery trays for seedlings that had just sprouted during my "napkin technique" germination. I will never use napkins to sprout seeds again—grow paper is the way to go, but I digress. The Tupperware I used to germinate the seeds was perfect, but I needed a nursery tray system to help transition my little sprouts into my LetPot Max hydroponics system, which already has other plants, nutrients, and a much higher EC. These cell trays are perfect for moving sprouts into the LetPot sponges and baskets, with light-blocking stickers on top and water in the bottom of the tray. The tray set has a convenient air vent on top and drainage holes in the bottom of each cell tray, so you can lift out the entire cell tray and drain it all at once if needed. Otherwise, it rests inside the base tray. This setup, along with a grow light, makes the nursery tray ideal for hydroponic pod transfers until the sprouts are ready for the main tank. ... show more

    • I’ve bought a few of these and they were great

But these a few times and they work very well. The trick to these is the first put the seeds in damp paper towel, and and fold it over and put it in a sandwich bag for a few days with a bit of air to allow the roots to start sprouting then plant the seeds in the trays. Keep the lid on until you see the plant sprout out out of the dirt then take the lid off or it will stunt the growth. ... show more
