Review for Bontec folding step stool I ordered this metal step stool for our workshop. I have a plastic folding one I use in our house but plastic wouldn’t be sturdy enough to last very long in our workshop where my husband welds and builds cabinets as well as other building projects. But this metal stool should be perfect for more heavy duty wear and tear. I was surprised when I picked it up that it is still easy to carry with a built in plastic handle to carry it with when the legs are folded. I think we will leave the legs unfolded for our particular use but they have a metal button at the top of each leg that will let the leg be folded or unfolded very easily. And when folded this stool would store in just about any little sliver of space. I like that the feet are heavy rubber feet. I would feel safe using this stool even on hardwood or vinyl flooring with that type of protection. This stool is the perfect height to let me easily reach something that is just a bit out of reach. There is plenty of room to stand comfortably on and it doesn’t feel too high for my 72 years old self to step up and down on easily and safely. There isn’t any wobbling to feel unsafe about because the legs are angled slightly which makes for a stable step stool. The rigged textured mat on the top surface also makes this stool safer to use. I am pleased with this well made step stool. This is something that will last a lifetime even for a young person because it is made of quality materials and a good design which is sometimes not easily found. ... show more
