2 1/2 years later, still working perfectly. I had to charge up some cheap no name brand batteries (dead on arrival) for 50 solar lamps. The charge takes and lasts forever, maybe one battery blinks out every 6 months, but that's the battery's fault. The red/green lights never falter, the unit doesn't get hot. Love this simple, plug in, set it and forget it charger! I've had several rechargeable batteries over a decade old and I couldn't tell if my charger was bad (it was, but some bays worked) or if it was my batteries just reaching end of life. This charger doesn't pretend it's charging - it blinks red if the battery is bad and I tried a few different bays and it was the same result. I also have a battery tester and confirmed the same - rechargeable batteries do reach end of life and a handful of mine already did. It arrived undamaged, and the packaging was very nice as well. The quality of the charger looks solid and it uses a regular house plug, no flaky USB or USB-C charger. I love how you can charge 16 AA's at once, or 16 AAA's at once, or even mix them as I did in my photo. e.g., 8 AA's and 8 AAA's. Another bonus of this charger is that you don't have to pair them side by side, unlike most other chargers. You can literally leave spaces between batteries, and it will still work. Finally, I love how each row has a charging/charged light indicator (green/red) letting me know when each battery is either fully charged or charging. It took about an hour for the AAA's to charge and about 3ish hours for the AA's to charge. The longer charging time is normal due to the higher mAh rating of AA batteries. I definitely recommend this bad boy to anyone who needs a good battery charger! ... show more

Works great. All AA Batteries fit fine. DOES GET WARM IF YOU FULLY LOAD. THE CORD IS TOO SHORT! Unless you're going to put this on a counter right next to the plug, the length of the cord is way too short. It lost a star for that... It's a big inconvenience. Charges an entire row but it takes about a day (not 24 hours, more like 9 or 10). Charges a few at a time quickly. I'm happy with this (I wish I would have done this sooner instead of fumbling around with my simpleton two or four charger 🤦🏼♀️). I have under the counter tap lights, they each take three. Every Friday I pull them all out and charge them all at once. This gadget has improved my quality of life lol. I leave it plugged in all the time (when it's unloaded) it does NOT get warm unless you're charging a bunch of batteries at once. But all the green lights will stay on, so if you're annoyed by lights at night know that it's very bright! I kind of like it because it serves as a night light in the dining room lol. Sidenote: Beware if you purchase batteries that are off brand on Amazon! While they will fit in this and charge, they might be different sizes oddly enough... So be careful with small compartments with a battery gets inserted like a computer mouse. 👀 ... show more

    • Great 2 in 1 charger!
Great charger for both AA and AAA batteries. If you charge more than 2, it takes a lot longer for the batteries to be a full charge, so best to plug them in and do what you gotta do for the day. Thankfully I bought enough so while the used ones get charged, I have others to use.
