The bolts (3/8-16 x 1) I received are of excellent quality. The manufacturer mark on these is RAAJ, which are made in India and far better than Chinese junk. The alloy/property mark is F593C, as in the pictures, and that is ideal for many applications that require stainless bolts. F593C is somewhat stronger than some other varieties of stainless, so I prefer it. ***** Even so, STAINLESS REQUIRES LUBRICANT!!!!! ***** I use SuperLube or brake caliper grease (thick, waterproof lubricant), depending on what I'm using the bolts for. Wheel bearing grease would also work well and I've occasionally used that. Stainless steel has different properties and characteristics from other steels that are commonly used for making bolts, so it must be treated differently. Do not expect a thin, spray lubricant to work. Stainless needs a thick lubricant on every bolt and nut. Without lubricant, they will often gall and seize. I have bought many things from Bolt Dropper and they have done very well so far. ... show more

We live in Small Town, America, so it is often hard to find what we need. No larger tows nearby. Amazon has truly been a Godsend!! I went looking for some hardware recently. I could have gotten zinc-coated from a box store, but could get stainless for about the same price. That's a no-brainer!
